I like the soap but it seems like it did not last too long.

I've looked for so long for a cleanser that I could use on my D-R-Y face. I've paid as much as $150 for a skin care line (stupid huh!), still I was not satisfied. I ran across this product while playing around on Amazon and read some of the reviews. I decided to order, I mean.....why not...I've certainly given everything else a chance. Normally I clean my face with a carrier oil but I just can't escape the wanting of some suds when I'm removing my makeup. I ordered several bars and waited anxiously with the highest hopes.... I didn't wait long, this company wasted no time getting my order out. I retrieved it from my mailbox within a couple of days and couldn't wait to try it out. I opened my package to find my order and two samples, a soap sample and a sample of essential oil...these were no skimpy samples either. I have a lot of respect for companies that send samples for two reasons....first it shows me that they have confidence in their products and secondly it shows me that they are more interested in winning customers and keeping them instead of "greedy grabbing" and continuously depending on a fresh lot of customers. Anyway...I immediately began to wash my D-R-Y face, wondering if I was making a big mistake....usually it takes quite a bit of time to get a decent amount of moisture back once I've messed up with a cleanser .... anyway, as I was washing....I was stressing....the suds from this soap were just plain silky....I was enjoying this but was afraid I would over do it so I began the splash rinse cycle. While rinsing I realized....uh....my skin was squeaking....AHHHHHHHHH...that's the scariest sound in the world for people with dry skin....it ALWAYS means dry and tight! However, after the rinse my skin felt smooth, not tight, not oily. I decided to wait 20 minutes before applying moisturizer...I was so sure it my skin would be dry....it wasn't! After the 20 minute wait my my skin was perfectly balanced. I applied a couple of drops of camellia oil and found my skin simply glowing. Next up was the shower. Again I was not disappointed, this soap produces such silky suds and a delightful aroma. My skin felt soft and clean....squeaky clean. This soap is wonderful for balancing the skin and I imagine it would work well for any skin type, furthermore I don't have to worry about chemicals that dry or irritate. This is a soft soap...I cut my in quarters so that I don't have an entire bar dissolving....

I have small hands and it is a bit tricky to wash with a bar of soap this large so I cut mine in half and put one bar in each bathroom. I was excited to find a natural and cruelty-free soap to try as my skin is sensitive (as is my animal loving soul). I suffer from mild bouts of eczema patches on my cheeks and upper arms during the change of seasons so I am most sensitive there. I used this on my whole body and it worked great but left my face stinging after I dried off and I had to rewash with my fragrance-free Neutrogena Transparent Bar. It didn't sting anywhere else on my body but my face is just sensitive so I will keep using for my body. I also love the earthy scent it has. I don't smell the "cherry almond" scent people are describing though. All in all, I like it. Thanks, Plantlife! :)

The best exfoliating bar or soap I can remember finding. Smell is a little too sweet for my taste, but overall pretty delightful. A bit too pricey for what you get, though, to be honest.

MY skin is combined, it's dry but oily above my eyebrows, nose and chin. I had many breakouts due to others cleansers. I had scars, red spots, and blackheads.After the very first time I tried this product, my skin was soft and silk, and seemed refreshed and glowing. After a week, all my breakouts were completely gone. Thanks God for created these wonderful ingredients, this product healed my skin. My skin now is glowing, flawless, brighter and so clean and soft. It healed all my breakouts and pimples, and prevent them.This is the best product I have ever tried, and I will continue to purchase it as long as possible. It's organic and natural, which makes it so perfect and good.Also, it is so affordable, long lasting, and smells as heaven.Thank you, PlantLife, for a wonderful product. This soap is nice enough. It smells much more herbally than I expected, but still pleasant. It's a little drying, which is why I can only give it 4 stars. It does clean well without leaving a residue. I cut the bar in half for easier handling, it was pretty easy to cut through as it's not a very hard soap. Knowing such, don't let the shower water run over it for too long or let it sit in water puddles or it will melt fairly quickly. Overall, it's a nice, natural soap!

I absolutely love this soap. I have been using Dove products for quite some time and for some reason now my skin doesn't like them. So I have decided to start using natural products because that is what the Lord wants us to do anyway. I tried this soap a couple of days ago and it is absolutely amazing. It feels sensational on my skin and I had no itching after getting out of the shower. I am definitely going to order more for the future.

Size isn't too big to grab and scent lasts..
