Lady Face Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 40 Set by Earth Mama (2 Pack)

The light/medium color stick is a great color match for light skin. If you look at a chart of skin color ranging in these categories: pale, light, medium, dark this shade is light. It is not pale and it is not medium. It would be too dark for pale skin and too light for medium skin. If you are a warm skin tone and also light it may wash you out a bit as well because it leans more yellow than orange in base. In that case their darker stick would be needed to follow the contour/bronzing protocol to work on the warmer skin tone and it should be great. If however you are light skin with neutral or cool undertones this should be an excellent match. It is not perfect for a cooler undertone as you can see. The right side of my hand is a straight swatch and the left or top is a swatch that has been blended out. You can see it matches nicely, it is the best and closest I have found for my light skinn with cooler undertones. I am pleased with the "concealer stick" consistency, and find using fingers to blend it out is needed for the heat from the fingers to perfectly distribute the product. It has a nice finish and doesn't create an issue with pores and skin looking worse than when I started! Using cream blush with it was ideal followed by a light press of powder on the zone. It's wonderful to find a clean "all in one product"! Just what I was looking for! Very happy. Highly recommend.

I look for non-cancer causing/non-toxic sunscreens since I have sensitive skin and am concerned most about my health. I was happy to find this here since it was rated as a "1" (least toxic) on the Environmental Working Group's list of sunscreens, and that is actually unusual for a stick to be rated that well (because the extra ingredients to hold it in stick form usually are toxic, but not in this brand). I was looking for something for my face, and hoped that the tint I ordered would work, and it did. I am a white girl who can get fairly tan in the summer, and the lighter tint has worked perfectly for me, even after my skin got a shade darker. I read reviews that said it could wipe off on clothes, but I personally haven't had a problem -- I just rub it in a little, and since it goes on my face and neck and occasionally on my hands or arms, when they are not covered with clothing, I haven't seen it rub off on anything so far. Blends really well, and because of the compact size, I just keep it in my purse. Another thing to note is that it doesn't melt easily, which makes it non-messy -- I have left my purse out in the sun a couple times and the stick remained solid. It's my new favorite!

Looks very natural. I usually just use this as makeup. I do have to make sure I skin prep before, so it blends in my skin easier. Not a problem though.

I got the regular sunscreen for my husband and kids, it works very well. I am black so I tried this tinted stick because it’s the only dark option they have. Unfortunately… it was too thick and overall felt like I was smothering my pores. It also was not too flattering for my complexion. Its a great idea and formulation (to shove as many oils with sun protecting properties into 1 product for maximum protection) but it didn’t work for me and thing is I really wanted to like it…Earth Mama should try to push a proper tinted sunscreen. It'd become popular. I think we’re all a bit tired of harsh chemical sunscreen and the lack of natural alternativesLastly, for the price point and QUALITY of the ingredients you get is very nice, I appreciate EMs approach. It didn’t work for me but if you’re reading this and want to give it a try buy it.

It's easy to put this on in place of foundation due to the tint but I really love it because the creaminess glides over my facial scars and leaves a nice layer. Sad it's not available right now but will continue to buy!
