Can the log store be placed horizontally? Making it wider and not so tall. I want it for a wide space with less height. Thank you!

Yeah you can. I did put a wooden back on it to stop the logs hitting off the painted wall. It's a solid metal frame

The sides are all telescopic the outer bar is 30mm and the inner one is 25mm but once assembled its definitely sturdy hopefully that helps.

Can this be placed sideways?

Not sure what you mean sideways, but it’s freestanding so you can put it any where/way you like. It’s sturdy, so would also “lay down” if that’s what’s required.

Is it possible to have a bespoke width? Is it just a screw to drill a hole for or is it bolted through entire frame please?

It has 3 different holes for the width, so can already be adjusted to 3 widths. They are just holes, that you put the bolts in, so I guess if you can drill holes in it then that would work.
