Curls Unleashed Color Blast Temporary Hair Makeup Wax - Washed Denim

This hair wax is so fun, but a bit messy, so yes gloves/let dry all the way. Works great on jet black hair like mine and makes the curls pop! My only gripe is that it makes the hair kind of hard/crunchy but they even say on the package adding some conditioner or hair lotion before the wax makes it softer! It kind of smells like cologne at first but it's too bad! Give it a try if you don't want to commit to a new color or want to see how it would look if you had!

Made my hair texture dry and scratchy - unable to manage. And I did not see any color in my hair at all, despite using a lot of the product. I have light gray/blonde mixed hair and color should have been visible.

So I was actually pretty skeptical of this product initially but it does actually color dark Afro textured hair without having to use a ton of product! I got the denim color and recently used it and the color payoff is fantastic for how little product you need. With that being said I definitely still went overboard with it and it dries out like the worst hair gel you've ever used in your life. I colored my entire head with it and while the curl definition and color were great I think I would use less product and only color the ends of my hair next time. It does feel pretty drying considering how much product I used but I'm going to wash my hair again today anyway so the fact that it's not moisturizing isn't really an issue. My main complaint is the FALLOUT. Part of that is definitely on me for using so much - seriously y'all a little goes a LOOOOONG way - but when taking my twists down I ended up in a fine dusting of pale blue dandruff. So it is very messy! But also water soluble so it is also pretty easy to clean up with just some soapy water. I would definitely purchase this product in more colors! Bottom line: I would be really careful to not use too much product because it will make your hair c r i s p y. A deep condition before you use this product is also helpful! It is very messy but easy to clean up. The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. I'll add pictures of me using the product after I feel I've used it to it's credit (the most effective and attractive way to use it rather than what I did this time 🥹)

The color dies last however your hair will be rock solid

I got the "Washed Denim" and my baby got made fun of at school. They calling her a granny cause it looks gray instead of the light blue it shows! One star for this color. My poor baby.

I used mine on dry hair and it probably took more product than I may have needed, BUT it came out so much better than I anticipated! I did not think that it would be able to mask my black hair or show well, but it looks like I really dyed my hair. Once dry, the color does not transfer to clothing, but it does flake a little if you manipulate your hair. No big deal. The only real down side for me is how crispy it makes your hair feel. I can hear my hair when I shake it 😅. Can't tell by looking at it though. I mixed bodacious blue and queen bee for this color.
