Inconsistent sizing
OK, here's the problem... These are really great work pants (especially for the price), but I'm not certain that I can buy them online again.I usually wear size 34 waist, 32 inseam. I bought a pair at the local hardware store, in that size (without trying them on) took them home, and they fit great!I liked them so much I decided to buy another pair, and saw them on Amazon for a few bucks less. I ordered the same size and model, and when they arrived I was surprised to find that they did not fit. I literally took off my first pair (the ones that fit so well) and then put on the new pair... (so I did not put on a few pounds!). No go! I took measurements of both pants to compare, and found that the new pants were 1.25 inches smaller around the waist and .75 inches shorter in the length (and this is before washing)! The only difference I could find (other than measurements) between the two pants was that the first ones were made in Honduras, and the second ones made in Nicaragua. Normally, I might just say that these pants run a bit small, and that I need to size up. But who's to know where the pants are made before you buy them?Anyway, sent the new pair back to Amazon, went back to the hardware store, and bought another pair of the Honduras 34 by 32 (which fit perfectly!). It seems that this may be a product that one will need to try on before purchasing, or be prepared to return for an exchange... (kind of a pain!)

For small hands only
The fabric seems durable and fit-and-finish is good but the pockets are designed for girl-hands. Normally, the pockets are tight but if you want to "deep- carry" a folding knife, the pocket becomes useless for anything else. The back pockets are ok but would be better with a flap or something for some extra security.

Being cheapened and QC going downhill
I have been wearing Dickies for years. My most recent point of contention is as of this pair I notice they are only using 5 belt loops instead of the usual 7. This might seem like a minor thing but being that these are "work pants" and not for office work many of us have various clips and holsters on our belts and belt loops. If these are your go-to work pants now your accoutraments are all out of place because someone thought it would be a good idea to squeeze a few pennies out of the bottom line by removing 2 belt loops. This is all aside from the obvious function of more belt loops to keep your pants and belt better situated during a lot of movement. Add this to the removal of regular fit from the line up, sizes seeming to vary more, I got one pair that had one leg slightly wider than the other, and just increasing lax QC, I will be keeping my eye out for a better brand.

Even a blind squirrel...
I've been rather harsh on Dickies apparel in other reviews (shirts, pants, socks). But these, I must admit, have been exceptional. I bought two pairs of these jeans over two years ago, and I wear them -- well, one pair at a time -- every weekday at work. I perform field repairs at various sites, often very dirty. I do a lot of kneeling, sitting, climbing, bending, etc. I am 6'3" ~185 pounds and the 38W 36L fit well and feel comfortable.Alas, these have finally sort of worn out. One has an open knee (the right, which is always the first thing to go on my pants), and the other's thigh pocket is open inside (small tools fall through to my boots). The two side-thigh pockets are perfect for holding my LED flashlight and a smallish tool, which probably has simply punched through the material. The ring pocket is great for holding my wedding ring (which I do not wear on the job). The major pockets, fore and aft, have held up, no holes, even after using them for about everything. Minor fraying, but o other rips or defects.I tend to wash these after two days, sometimes daily, using my machine's Power Wash, which has probably hastened the wear -- but it gets them clean : a tribute to my machine and to the material? I bought black color, and that is now more grey (who cares?).In general, these have been great pants. I am thinking about buying again, but the price has gone from $18 to $27. I wish my salary had gone up 150%. But that's another review.

I tried these on at walmart before purchasing on amazon so I knew what size fit me I do this with all clothes and would recommend anybody purchasing clothes offline to do it first if possible.I work in the Railroad industry and these pants have proven to be as durable as they feel. I used to have to by 10-15 pairs of pants a year due to wear and tear and the 5 pairs I purchased all look new and are 8 months old. If you find your job tearing up your pants then i would definitely give these a try.

Comfy, baggy, heavyweight, look good.
I'm a fairly slim 5'11" and usually take a 32" waist for jeans. These fit perfectly with a bit if wiggle room for weeks when too many pies are consumed. The material is a really good quality, thick, heavyweight canvas sort of stuff and they feel like they'll last a long time. The style is a bit reminiscent of '90s jeans - baggy all the way down but not so much that they look weird. Much comfier than skinny fit jeans and despite the thick material they're actually pretty cool on hot days. All in all, a really good quality pair of strides - a bit smarter than standard jeans. I went for the green colour and they're exactly as pictured- quite a dark, subtle colouring. Very pleased with them so far.

Much darker
I’m afraid I sent these back. The colour was much darker than the photo and the fit wasn’t good.

Comfortable and practical
I've had several pairs of these over the years but you can't get them from Dickies UK any longer so tracked some down on Amazon and bought two pairs just to be safe. I've found them hard wearing and comfortable both for work and lounging around. Also if you're up a ladder the vape pen pouch sewn into the leg handily doubles up for somewhere to put a screwdriver or wrench.
