Loved how easy this was to install. You can adjust the height of the tire as well. Very sturdy and should last for years, I am happy with this product.

My trailer suffered a catastrophic accident when hunting Elk at 8,200' where it The weld job at the crash site was poor but it did allow the removal of the trailer. A second repair made the trailer safe again but added two additional runners to the A-frame. Unfortunately, I failed to remember the details of that extensive repair when I measured the outside vertical height of the rails Had I crawled under the A-frame before measuring I would have remembered that the back, underside of the rail was 1.5" deeper than the exposed sides. The bottom line is that I "screwed up" in ordering this unit but this seller was very understanding and deserves a TEN STAR RATING for his understanding of my situation and fully refunding the purchase price to me on a timely basis!

I could not get it to work on a tractor supply 5x8 trailer. The posts on the trailer are L Shaped, not a solid bar. So it would not sit flat. Also, there was not enough room on the tongue for a trailer stand and this carrier. Seems like all trailer spare tire holders are like this, so I may be out of luck and will be bungee cording the tire to the inside of the trailer. As for the carrier, it seems well made and very strong. I would not call it low profile. It sticks pretty far out, which was another issue with my small trailer.

Product is very sturdy and easy to install. The only con is that this product doesn't have a locking cable or lug to prevent theft of a spare tire. It does include additional lugs to keep main lugs from becoming loose while traveling.

Got this for the RV. Easy to install and now we have an extra bumper if need be.

I was lucky my eye caught this before I lost the spare, possibly damaged the boat and/or caused damage to any other vehicle in either lane. Just wanted to post for others to keep you informed of the possible failures of this item. Loved it when I 1st installed, but this was alarming. Maybe if there weren’t as many holes “failure” points it would have been a solid product.
