GildanAdult Heavy Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Style G5400, 2-Pack

I have bought a lot of Gildan t-shirts in the past and always found them to be good value and very comfortable. These long sleeved ones though are just the opposite. The material is very rough to the touch, inside and out. I won’t buy them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

If this is 'heavy' cotton, I would hate to see what thin cotton is. I can hold the shirt up to the window and easily see the trees and buildings outside through the shirt. The cotton is not very soft to the touch either.

I am a woman and was looking for a big men's shirt to wear. The sizing was accurate and fit baggy as I wanted it too. However, the material isn't the softest and it also is more see through then I would have wanted. I was looking for an opaque white long sleeve and this is not opaque. There is a bit of transparency so I have to wear a white tank underneath if I wear a bra.

The material is slightly thicker than your average t-shirt . I am usually a 3XL and this shirt baggy on me and the shoulders are not tight and sleeves are just the right length . I have trouble finding shirts with long enough sleeves . I have not put it thru the laundry yet . Even if it shrunk some I could see it still fitting well . If your looking for a heavy weight shirt one of your local farm supply stores . ( the one that says 100 % Canadian Owned on the sign . Bought 4 from there and good price .

Delivery was ahead of ETA. Following day, making a pre-wash before wear but very disappointment with the quality of work. Stitchings already coming off or the area was not stitched properly. I thought switching from Hanes to Gildan brand will be better, dead wrong. Both brands has same problems. Sos but different brand.To return it would have been a hassle and will requiredthat I go to the post office, would have wasted much time for everyone handling the returns. Better I use a needle and thread to repair the stitches. Many 1-star feedback on this product have the same problem of "holes".
