So far I'm very pleased, would have been 5 stars but I wanna see if it last more than a few cooks. Fit my pit boss pro 1100.

Works on pit boss 600
I used it on my Pit Boss 600 which has been not working correctly since I bought it new.It brought my grill to work the way it’s supposed to. So far so good.

Work with CharGriller 9020
Was a little skeptical at first because it only mentioned pit boss smokers.I bought this because during a smoke my auger started to run continuously.Plugged it all in, fired it up, and now it maintains temperature and the auger shuts off for its intervals again.This same product from the CharGriller website is $69, I paid $39, and had it 2 days later. That’s a win in my book!

Pit Boss Heat Probe
Works like a champ! Had the ERR error on my Pit Boss. Installed new one and smoker is back to life. Had to cut off the old one and install the new one beside it since mounting of old unit was fused to the smoker. You need to research YouTube for installation instructions. In my case i needed to drill 3 new holes for the mount and cable. You can avoid if you can get the old screws to release. You gotta get right inside the machine and get at the electronics remove the old cable from the circuit board, cut the zip ties that tie up the excess cabling etc. etc. so it’s a bit of work

I worked exactly as expected for Pit boss Rancher XL was easy enough to install and smoker guns much more accurately now

Good quality replacement probe
Perfect fit for my pitboss 820 with dial controls. The wires are plenty extra long and you need to be careful when you tuck them in that they won’t be in the way of the fan blades. Checking with a second thermometer this one is reading very accurate.
