Exceeded my expecations
I bought this because it hit the price point I wanted -- low (about $11). I had low expectations, and it's exceeded them. The sound quality for the remote person is better than the (also budget-oriented) $40 wireless gaming headphones that I bought. A note for those of you on the PC -- this will NOT work if you have your xbox controller connected via Bluetooth! You *must* either connect it via USB or via the Xbox One Controller Wireless Adapter for Windows 10. This is not the fault of the headset manufacturer, but instead a limit of the xBox controller. The controls are simple and give you what you need -- volume for the speaker, microphone mute, and nothing else. If you want to change mic gain, you need to do it through your console and/or PC. The microphone swings through a complete ~220 degree arc, so you can flip this between your left and right ear. Is this a premium headset? Certainly not. Does it have the best sound quality of all the headsets? Not even that. Does it provide a good experience at a low price? Absolutely. I do recommend it (unless cost isn't a big deal for you -- then go upmarket).

Echo..
The headset quality is fine.I don't find it uncomfortable to wear, it's lightweight and I like that you can hear whats going on around you but the person you are chatting with on Xbox hears an echo from their own voice with this head set. I tried different controllers and various headsets, muting and settings etc to discover that this headset does echo for everyone else in the party. I returned it.

Requires manually changing the chat/game mixer via settings, but works great afterwards
Audio quality is obviously not great, but for people who want a cheap headset or want to downgrade for fun like I did, this is a great option. Voices come through clear and at a good volume. Really reminds me of the Xbox 360 days. There was a problem with my first couple of minutes, but I was able to figure it out by fiddling with the console settings. When I plugged it in, I was getting audio for chat as well as in-game audio, which I didn’t want as this was advertised solely as a chat headset. There’s no physical mixer, so I thought I was screwed once I saw other reviews stating that it’s stuck like this. However, I found out that you have to press the Xbox menu button and go to your party chat settings to change the mixer that way. They don’t tell you this, but once you do it the headset works for party chat only, the way that it should. Wish it did that by default. Hope this helps others struggling with this issue.

Good for people who don’t take care of their things
This is a wired headset and reminds me of a call center or receptionist style set up. It’s comfortable with a little adjustments. My kid complains about hurting on the right hand side where it has contact over the open ear. You may want to put a sponge or something soft for more comfort. As an adult I didn’t notice that but also not wearing it for long periods of time. The mic is good and hearing is clear and no static. The I like that this has one ear free so my kid can actually hear me. Still get the what or huh of they are playing a game, but much easier. Pros- price & mic/hearing quality, wired not as easy to lose Cons- wired less movement like wireless, comfort for some on open ear side Would recommend if your kid doesn’t take care of things.

Does not function correctly on Series X
I bought this headset because I like the very simple, one ear headsets when I game. The technology on this particular headset seems to conflict with the audio settings on the Series X. When connecting the headset to the controller, it automatically sends ALL game audio both to your TV speakers, AND to your headset. There is no fix for this problem. The Console is supposed to auto detect that this is a one speaker mic, and not send game audio to it. If the console has an issue or malfunction detecting what headset it is, then it will just auto divert to sending all audio to it, and there is no fix for that problem. To attempt a fix, I actually plugged in an old PS4 mic to it, which worked way better than this one. When I unplugged the PS4 headset and plugged this one back in, it worked fine for only 1 session, then reverted back to its same behavior. I restarted my console only to find that this time is literally MUTED all audio until I plugged the mic in, then would play from both my speakers and headset simultaneously. Long story short, these are WAY too many audio issues that have no fix for this to be a viable headset with current gen consoles. Xbox One I am sure it works way better, but it is not a headset that functions correctly.

Works great for a chat headset.
I like sound of the game through the TV, and chat separately in my ear. Been using these for years. They can break if ur rough on the cord but so can expensive ones. Great for what I need it for. Mostly plating Cod multi-player. Ppl hear me fine, no echo on xbox

Sweet
For a one ear piece headset sound is bright and clear past exceeding what you would expect. I normally am very negatively critical. It’s my nature. So add that in. They are so light you do not really feel them or more importantly the right side bracket thingy. I wear glasses so do have some issues, but only because of, glasses. The mic works well at picking up audio and not noises. Except my dog barking. Volume control is good and linear with a good click on and off switch. Ah..I use them when watching videos from Xbox because the one earpiece is better than my monitor’s two plus volume control. Obviously well worth the money.

Great Buy!
works like a charm, perfect for the Xbox and even for my meetings on my laptop. Can use on either ear, by moving the speaker all the way through the headset. My work phone has a jack, so even used this for work calls and able to capture notes etc. Great Buy
