PREMIER Wet and Dry Chutney Grinder

Thumbs up for this product. I have a Vitamix blender for most of my large quantity blending needs. Also have a Preethi Chefpro that I was just holding onto for the small quantity grinding. Preethi is a good brand and the blender has served me well since 2008 though performance deteriorated. I have been researching a small wet grinder with a small footprint to replace the Preethi and read on many brands/models. I found this on Amazon but though not many reviews. I saw one YouTube video just presenting the product (no voice over). Premier is a very reliable brand and I am happy using the Premier2L tilting wet grinder for idli/dosa batters. Have started using the Premier wet/dry chutney and very happy with results. Made poppy seed paste without soaking first and it ground it to a paste very well. Grinding poppy seeds without soaking is a good test I use.It also ground dry Garam Masala etc well. Also the construction is good.The stainless steel jar tapers on the top so the contents keep falling back to the blade. The steel bowl is easily removeable to hand wash or dishwasher top rack safe. I wish there was more marketing for this product. I know many Indians living here in US have Vitamix or Blendtec but need a good small size chutney, spice paste blender. See pics below for size in comparison to a Cuisinart 7 cup processor and Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. I am very happy with the Premier wet and dry chutney grinder.

Does the work. Good for wet and dry grinding. Steal quality is not as great.

Its been one month and ten days since I bought this grinder. It stopped working today. And I cannot return it because its been more than a month!!!The seller replaced me new wet and dry chutney grinder and its working. Appreciate that the seller replaced it after 40 days of purchase.

It's really good for small amount of grinding. I am so disappointed as it only lasted for a year & half. :(Not worth for price if I've to re-order it in less than 2 years.

First unit that I bought had a crack around the blade. I returned and re-bought a new unit. The new unit worked for month and a half.I liked it when it worked but it just stopped working today morning..its only been a little more than a month's use.Crap product. Now again I would have to peak to customer svc and talk about this issue and see if I can get a refund. I will be looking for a different blender now and not planning to buy this again. I wish i had a better review for this, it was a good blender but its definitly expected to last a customer for long which is not the case here :(I would suggest the vendor and Amazon to discontinue this product that works for only 1 month!

I don't get to use it often as my wife has fell in love with it. Truthfully we have been looking for an all around spice grinder for wet and dry and this works well both ways. One little nite to remember --- clean as soon as you can.

I was a little skeptical about this one, mainly due to the size. However, I am impressed with its capacity and power. I have ground dried Indian spices as well as onions, chillies etc. and it does an excellent job with both.

Poor quality, leaves chunks in the bottom and leaks from the sides and plastic parts
