5 Pieces Mix Lot of Indian Tribal Kantha Quilts Vintage Cotton Bed Cover Throw Old Assorted Patches Made Rally

I LOVE these blankets!!! They are exactly as they should be. Very light weight, lots of funky patches, the ends in this batch are nicely but simply finished, and so many beautiful colors!! It seems that they have addressed the earlier complaints some had about the quality. They smelled slightly like boxes, or glue? But I washed them on warm with Mrs. Meyers laundry soap and they came out soft and clean. Oh my gosh, do it. Just do it. You can use these for ANYTHING. Curtains, reading blankets, summer bed blankets, table cloth, picnic blankets (which is super trendy right now due to social distancing and everything being closed), baby play blankets, make them into pillow cases, etc.I am beyond happy. I knew it was gonna be a mixed bag of surprises but I had no idea they would be this lovely.

After my cell phone slipped into my recliner and I ended up crushing it, I started looking for something to drape over the recliner to keep things from falling inside. I read a number of reviews from this listing and similar listings and even though a number talked about mold, stains, loose threads, etc. I decided to take the chance on them. I'm very glad I did. They had a slight chemical smell (not much worse than most new textiles), but that came out in the wash. I can't find any stains (though I haven't looked all that hard), and certainly no mold or mildew. The colors are vibrant, there's nice variety, and while not quite as big as I needed, that's my own fault for not measuring. I'm using two to drape across the chair and the rest I'll alternate out as these need washed. Overall I'm extremely satisfied and so very glad I took a chance on these.

Beautiful colors. Unsure if rough edges are deliberate or simply unfinished (strings from running stitch knotted and left hanging at edges). I like it though.Slight musty smell on arrival. Easy fix with a quick wash and hang dry in the sun.Very happy with purchase. One sits on the back of the couch and keeps legs warm when needed during movies. Durable through machine wash and dry. (Though I've only done one to date).If you figure they're about $10 each, it's a great deal. Would buy again. Comfy!

These kantha pieces are a lot of fun! The patterns are a bit on the crude side when compared to those at a higher price point, and they don't have as many pieced components, but they are completely different colors on each side so they can be flipped around and used either way. As a designer, I use these often in projects as curtain panels, throws, pillow covers, and stacked up as bright splashes of accent color - so easy to integrate. As other reviewers say, they do emit a smell - similar to candle wax - and are unfinished on the short sides, but this might be expected from a completely hand made item. The only REAL problem is that at about $11 each, you could easily become addicted and hoard them!

They are truly authentic. I love every single one. However, they are sewn together only by the long stitch quilting. That's not very secure, particularly as regards machine washing the quilts, so I used a sewing machine to make a clean rolled hem along all four sides.Then I washed them, as they were quite dirty. Once sewn, I washed them in cold water, gentle cycle, with Tide, ammonia and two Color Grabbers. During the first wash I gave them a half hour soaking. They still needed to be washed twice. They eventually came out of the washer looking brighter and more beautiful. I tumble dried the quilts low, and if there was any shrinkage, it was minimal. There's some work involved, true, but they're beautiful and worth it.

Colors were vibrant but sewn poorly and they had an awful smell. Washed 2 times and smell still lingers. I do not recommend this product.

Delivery was almost a week late and I was unsuccessful on getting a response from the company for a tracking number. As I wasn't in any real hurry to get them it was a minor annoyance. Packaged well and I didn't notice any strong odors like other reviewers noted. They smelled a bit musty, but it was vintage fabric packed in plastic and shipped in winter months so it was to be expected.One of the blankets had a few small holes in the top layer, which isn't unusual for kantha blankets and the color peeking through is very pretty so that's a non issue for me. Ends were unfinished, as expected, also a non issue. My original plan was to make cushion covers but these are so pretty I may have a hard time cutting them up. I ordered the lot of 5 and got a nice selection of colors and patterns. Overall I'm very pleased and would order again.

I’ve ordered twice because it’s such a fun surprise to see what comes in my box! I plan to use in home dec and also sewing to add interest to my garments. While they aren’t top quality (stitching is large and spaced too wide), they’re great for the price. My first box was vibrant and had lots of interesting fabrics. My second box was filled with more dull colors, looser stitching with many loose ends and shoddy edges, and much more patching that started giving way after the first wash. I love how soft they are after washing and the endless possibilities they present when there aren’t done quite as sloppily and in the duller colors of my 2nd box. So when ordering, be prepared for anything.

They took awhile to arrive [10 days] but I was kept informed every step of the way. I just opened the very well-wrapped package and these quilts are beautiful. The attached photo only gives a small glimpse of all the wonderful colours. Each quilt has two completely different sides. The fabric is soft and lovely. Fantastic if you want to add a boho feel to any spot in your house. Perfect for gifts. Daughter & granddaughters LOVE these. A true treasure for the price. Really happy with this purchase.

Arrived really quickly (to UK), well packaged and great selection of colours! (mostly pinks and oranges but that is exactly what I hoped for). A little musty so will need a wash before using (shouldn’t be a problem as they are lightweight) but overall really happy! Would make great gifts

These are lovely throws with a variety of patterns. I use them to cover my couches from the dogs. Very hippy groovy ! Love!
