Great Scooter.
I have to say, this scooter has been an absolute game-changer for me. It's my daily driver, and it's held up incredibly well under some really harsh conditions. Whether I'm cruising through heavy traffic or navigating bumpy roads, this scooter always gets me where I need to go with ease. And let me tell you, the ride is super comfortable. Even on longer journeys, I never feel any discomfort or fatigue. It's just a smooth, easy ride all the way.One of the things I appreciate most about this scooter is its battery life. It really does last as long as the manufacturer claims it does, and that's been a real lifesaver for me. Plus, the battery charges up really quickly, so I never have to wait long before I can hit the road again.Overall, I can't recommend this scooter enough. It's reliable, comfortable, and just a joy to ride. Whether you're using it for commuting, running errands, or just cruising around town, it's definitely worth checking out.

I'm happy with my purchase
I like the extra tire and inner tube. I like its rated for 18mph but I am able to get up to 30+mph. The scooter has a good kick to it (My first scooter) so it picks up speed fast. I am happy with it. Dislikes. carry a extra charger on you or leave it somewhere the faster you go the faster the battery drains. Front light is bright enough to see potholes before you hit them. Also this thing is heavy around 40lbs or so.

Many Safety Concerns Due to Severe Product Issues
Within 7 months of buying this product the battery displayed significant signs of deterioration. Often times riding the scooter, I would experience very scary situations such as the scooter speed suddenly dropping or eventually coming to a full stop. When trying to start the scooter following this, a loud grinding sound could be heard. I have tried numerous times to contact the Segway Ninebot customer service but am sent in a constant loop. The phone number provided forces you to write an email, providing no option to contact a representative. After writing an email, I am transferred between 5 different reps all who ask the same information only for no resolution to be provided. The representatives do not provide any real support in this and it seems like the company does not care about the safety concerns this product poses. After a full year of correspondence with this horrible company, have not been provided a viable solution. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, there are many other companies offering better versions of this!!!

Great lightweight scooter suitable for downtown riding
I purchased this for my son who commutes to his grad classes and lab. He loves it. With its light weight and folding handle, he can just carry it into the buildings (and up stairs) to keep it secure. He also likes the water resistant feature that very few other scooter models offer. There is no problem going up hills which was one of my concerns after reading several reviews here. The charge easily lasts him a week of back and forth to campus which, depending on where he goes that day, is 1-2 miles each way.Another positive for downtown riding on the sidewalks or the street is the shock absorbing ability of the pneumatic tires, which he says is smoother than the solid rubber tires on other scooters he has ridden.A confidence builder for my decision to purchase this model was the brand. Segway is a real, established company vice the no-name ones to which I was comparing it.The only drawback I can mention is the price. It is definitely higher cost than some other models.

Pretty Good but not Perfect
This scooter became a mainstay in my routine within a few days of when I purchased it. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done, and for anyone who uses scooters often, it pays for itself reasonably quickly.Pros:* The scooter folds nicely, allowing it to fit in a vehicle trunk. It's a little heavy/bulky, but it will still fit better than a bike.* Travels faster than most rental scooters, and yet not so fast that it feels reckless or unsafe.* Can be charged in a standard wall outlet, making it fairly easy to charge anywhere indoors.* Really fun to ride on; great to travel when you are driving somewhere interesting; allows you to park further away from where you need to go if there is a place to store your scooter.Cons:* The add-on accessory lock is really poor quality, almost so much so that it makes you question the quality of the scooter itself; the lock allows the user to enter their own four digit code but mine shifted while unlocked and I had to spend ~20 minutes figuring out what the new code was; this happened THREE times. Furthermore, the basic lock is merely a deterrent for very short stops; I would use a much heavier duty lock if storing it anywhere for longer than 15 mins, especially if overnight.* The scooter doesn't handle steep hills very well; on hills above 5% grade, I was noticing it would stall sometimes. This may be a consideration if you live in a hilly area.* Once the scooter hits ~25% battery remaining, its performance can become inconsistent; it sometimes requires a hefty push to get started and sometimes just doesn't push. It can be a bit deceptive and leave you in a vulnerable spot before you are expecting it.* It takes ~4-6 hours to charge for what will give you maybe 40 minutes of riding time (getting worse the older the scooter is; I had it for one year and noticed some performance drops).* The app is clunky and not particularly useful; once you get it registered, I never once used it again. I'm not expecting the scooter to come with an airtag or anything but it only operates when you are within bluetooth distance of it, and its 'tracking' data is inconsistent. You can theoretically 'lock' it but only when you are in bluetooth distance of it; and remote start is pretty meaningless when you just press one button to start it up. Because of these reasons, I would suggest you keep it secure somewhere, ideally with separate hardware.
