I used these brackets to install two 2-inch thick by 10-inch wide by 57 inches long shelves. I thought I may need two sets of these brackets, one for each shelf, but they are so strong that I only needed one set (2) for each shelf because they are so strong/solid. The finish is excellent. The supplied screws are black so they blend in. I installed these "up-side-down" so the only thing you see at the bottom of the shelf is the horizontal bracket piece supporting the shelf (didn't have to drill through the backsplash tiles). Highly recommended for this application.

The ad is false. The thickness is not 1/4" , but only 1/8" thick. Also not rustic, but rather machine made in China.

someone needs to learn how to read a measuring tape....these are advertised as 1/4" thick, reality is they are 1/8" thick. I can still use these but was hoping for 1/4". Due to false advertising, 3 stars only.

Bought these to install some thick shelves in our kitchen remodel. They were simple to put up, very strong (we used leftover butcher block pieces to match our countertop so they had to be) and blessedly came with all the hardware we needed, and it's actually quality screws! I can't tell you how nice that is. We used a combination of attaching to the studs in the wall and a set of drywall anchors and found we didn't need the fourth set of brackets, so we have two left over. My only wish was that they sold these in sets of two, but I'm sure I'll use these extras somewhere else and the price was better than the local box store. Also we originally purchased the longer brackets with the hooked end but since they would not have worked for us we returned them, and it was easy and free to send them back. Very happy with these brackets and this company overall.
