No better budget headphone amplifier!
The Schiit Magni 3+B is an awesome budget headphone amplifier. The performance of this amplifier is well worth the price, as it is likely the only headphone amplifier you would ever need. I currently have the DT990 Pros (which are 250 ohm headphones) and it gets them plenty loud a bit under 50%, on high gain. I am using a RCA to 3.5mm to my desktop computer. It sounds really good and clean, there is no static at all. This amp would have no problem powering even higher ohm headphones! I would love to see Shiit expand towards audio interfaces so people could have an all in one package for mic / instrument, headphone, etc. I bet they would do a great job at it! The amp barely gets warm, which will likely give it a long life. I do wish that the Magni had a 3.5mm output option, but it is not a deal breaker because of adapter cables and such. There is also a white led that is dimly visible inside: to indicate it is working, it has not bothered me at all. Based on their website and product descriptions, and other people's stories about them: they seem like a great company with excellent support and straight to the point marketing/branding. Definitely a easier to trust brand, and more connecting brand than others.

Nothing to nitpick
I use this at work to power some low impedance DCA headphones. It has plenty of power and sounds transparent to me. It wasn't long ago that something in this price range would have noticeable sonic flaws that would bug me and I'd end up upgrading. This doesn't. And it looks fine, good build quality. It seems low level signal amplification is a solved problem and is now just getting cheaper.

Great little device!
This is a great little headphone amp with the power to drive even difficult headphones. I use this as part a separates desktop system as a headphone amp and preamp. It’s a massive upgrade from just plugging into the computer. This along with the Modi3 DAC from Shiit Audio. It’s real hifi on a budget. Mostly made in the USA is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Good headphone amp for the price
Good headphone amp for the price. Powerful enough. Runs my Beyerdynamic 990's without an issue. I use the headphone amp around 70% which is plenty. I'd recommend and buy again. Looks pretty good too.

Amazing flat amp, great for mixing with DT770 250 Ohm Headphones
Really amazing amp, super flat and an absolute necessity if you are mixing with 250 Ohm headphones. (the difference is night and day) One other thing, at first I was not happy that the inputs were RCA instead of 1/4 or 3.5mm, but then I realized by using the 3.5mm to RCA adapter, I could swap the R/L on my headphones (which works better for my setup as it is unwieldly to have the cord on the left

Made it 26 months
Died on me two months after it's 2 year warranty date, which seems a bit short for what it costs. Worked fine while it lasted.

Works well
Have had no issues with this, works well with my setup. probably using it in the worst way, but i just have it plugged in to my pc with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm dual headed cable. But i dont have any static or anything requiring me to get a DAC. my Dac that is in my motherboard is good enough. I'm using Sennheiser HD650s
