Sivagamiyin Sabadham

Marvelous work of Kalki . By taking the 6th century historical events as background , he made a wonderful novels that give suspense , description of various characters and their behaviour with different circumstances. I agree with the belief that history of kingdoms of tamil land will be known to us only from Kalki's novels " Sivakamiyin Sabatham " , " Parthiban Kanavu" and " Ponniyin Selvan ". I am very grateful to the effort taken by people who made this wonderful novels of Kalki in Kindle form and made it easily available to the public

No matter how many times one reads this novel, it does not stop the reader from wondering every time about the greatness of this creation. Amazing! Respects to the author, Kalki.

என் மனதை ஆட்கொண்ட காவியமெனவே கூறுவேன். என்னையும் என் நேரத்தையும் திருடி என் மதியை மயக்கி விட்டது கல்கி சிற்பியினால் வடிக்கப்பட்ட இக்காவியம். உணர்வுகளை வெளிப்படுத்த வார்த்தைகள் என்னிடம் இல்லை என்பதற்கு இக்காவியத்தின் மீதே குற்றம் சாட்டுவேன்.

Amazing Tamil Language. Nice story. Very interesting to read. Importance given for our ancient rich culture on Dance, Art and Sculptures. Great.I am 70 now. I am reading this story second time alomost after 40 years.Able to remember charectors .and places

Start with Sivagamiyin Sabadham, followed by Parthiban Kanavu and then read Ponniyin Selvan. I completely messed up the order in the reading and began with Ponniyin selvan then parthiban Kanavu and last Sivagamiyin Sabatham.. But I again gave it another reading of Parthiban Kanavu and Ponniyin selvan.. All the 3 are master pieces of Kalki.. I thoroughly enjoyed the reading and the usage of words by the author is extraordinary. Totally loved it 😍

This book got me addicted to Tamil literature, just loved it

When I started to read second time of this novel I was transported back to Pallava empire. All these days I was enchanted by the dance of Sivagami, I was awestruck by the talents of Mahendravarman, I was watching the destructions of the flood, I was watching the war between Narasimhavarman and Pulikesi, I panicked by the evil drama of Naganandhi. There is end to everything and my journey also ended.What a novel! Breathtaking narration mysterious plots, twists and thrilling story from one of the greatest Tamil writer Kalki.
