LACrafts 41 Count Cupcake Stand 5 Tier, Large, Silver

I bought this cupcake stand to hold the cupcakes for our daughter's high school graduation party. It came as pictured: grey, with swirl wires. It also arrived in a bright pink and white box with a manufacturer's name, etc. on it (I didn't keep the box, so I'm not sure about the brand name). I love, love, love to cook--but not to bake. So, I'm not looking for Wilton products, etc. I hired a really talented high school student / friend of my son to make the cupcakes. A shiny stand would have taken away from his beautiful creations. But the grey supported the cupcakes and they were the stars.My big complaint is that the stand did not come with directions and that it feels a bit flimsy. The 3rd shelf from the top was loose, and I couldn't figure out how to tighten it. I didn't have time before the party to return and demand a box with directions. After reading through comments here, I see that that the mysterious notches are for the hex wrench. I will be sure to remember that next time. However, the stand was strong enough to hold the 40 cupcakes just fine.If you are planning on using a cupcake stand frequently, you should probably invest in something a bit more sturdy from a respected brand name.

This is definitely a cheap cupcake stand, but serves its purpose well. We spray painted it white, which made it look much nicer. Using the tools provided, the stand goes together securely. HOWEVER, my complaint is that I ordered 2 cupcake stands, and it took the parts from 2 stands to put together 1 complete, functioning cupcake stand. The sodder job was so poorly done on 1 cupcake stand, the top would not screw in tightly. The other cupcake stand was missing all the "tools" to assemble it, as well as 1 upright support and the screw for the bottom. Both cupcake stands arrived in damaged boxes, one of which was completely open upon arrival, and the other had a hole in the box. The plastic "envelope" containing the small parts was empty in one box, and slit open on the side in the other box. With the parts from 2 boxes, I was able to assemble 1 stand and have returned the remaining parts and pieces in hopes of receiving a complete, functioning replacement, as my goal was to have 2 matching cupcake stands.

Assembles very easily and disassembles just as quickly. Will be perfect for many wedding I do cupcakes for. Please take notice of the little tool bag, many reviews say it wasn't sturdy. Probably because they never tightened it with the provided tools. My only complaint so far is that I tried to order 2 by clicking the 2-pack option which doubled the price. I thought how convenient! To my dismay, only one arrived and I was still charged for 2. And as neither I nor the Amazon customer service could contact this seller, I have been forced to return my original and re-purchase these individually. Stupid and complicated. It's a very good thing I don't need these until next month. I would give fewer stars for the seller but don't want to damage the rep of the item, it's perfectly fine.

Honestly, I was going to chime in and write a bad review but I carefully read all the complaints and then looked that item. All the complaints were valid until i realilzed that you need to use the little tool that comes with kit and apply it to the indentations on the metal connecting poles to tighten. The coils that hold the cupcakes DO regular size cupcakes you just firmly hold and push the springs down. I actually made a batch of cupcakes to see how it works. This item works perfectly and very sturdy. I bumped it and the table... perfection nothing moved. Please give it a try if you still have yours or want to buy. Take your time look at the pieces and use the tools. You will be very happy with this item.

I have used several of these types of cupcake carousels over the years, and I find this one to be a bit better than most. It holds a large quantity of cupcakes, and with some minor additions, works well for mini-cupcakes too. (I used a regular sized cupcake paper as a "doily" to stabilize the mini's.) The spacing between tiers allows for taller decorations like picks and figures.The unit assemblies quickly and is easy to clean. The spiral design makes adding adornments quick and easy.One small inconvenience -- if you don't remove the cupcakes evenly, the unit can tip fairly easily...especially in the hands of an excited little person.Overall, when filled with offerings, it makes a truly spectacular display.

I purchased this for my daughter's baby shower and it worked out quite well. I was a little reluctant to purchase it due to mixed reviews, but I am glad I did. It was a large co-ed shower (30-40 people) so I needed a large cupcake stand. I considered making one, but after pricing materials and taking into consideration the effort that would be involved, this stand was a much more convenient and less expensive alternative. I didn't have any problems with putting it together or broken pieces.Worked out great for me. For the price I wasn't expecting anything heavy duty, and after reading reviews I expected to have to rig it together (it is half the price of a comparably sized Wilton or other name brand stand). I was only plan on using it once, but disassembled it after use and packed it away to use again.

Perfect for our anniversary party. The stand was grey and I spray painted it white. Bought the white lace collars for the cupcakes on Amazon. White cupcakes with white frosting and gold embellishments. A stunning simple arrangement. Easy to disassemble the stand flat and keep in the bag it come in. Love it.
