It tastes exactly like Colombia coffee candy. I absolutely love it

Real expresso taste
I like the real dark coffee taste, and the size is perfect. Because I prefer the taste of bitter coffee I think they are a little too sweet. But I like to have one while I am drinking my black expresso so they compliment each other.

Doesn't really have much coffee taste.
I was looking for something to replace Brach's Pick a Mix coffee candy - this isn't it. Nips Coffee candy has the right taste but it is more like a hard caramel and very sweet. I wanted a true hard candy. This is a cute coffee bean shaped candy and when I popped the first one in, I thought oh that doesn't have much taste - it will probably get better as I let it dissolve. NOPE, no real coffee taste. Not really sure what it tastes like. It isn't terrible and I will eat the package I bought but I won't reorder. One plus, it is not terribly sweet.

Best coffee candy ever - bar none
I wrote a long review for these amazing candies for the 100 unit bag -- same product, only better for being twice as many! ;-) Theses are my favorite hard candy, bar none. They are totally addictive, and they taste like the very best cup of coffee -- only sweet. Since I'm one of those people who drinks coffee black, this seems strange, but the sweetness doesn't detract at all from the intense coffee taste of these candies. They can stand up to it with NO problem! The one downside to these is that they can be hard to find -- they are made in Colombia, and there doesn't seem to be a regular bulk importer to the U.S. It wasn't a huge deal when my son was living next door to his buddy from Colombia in the dorm, but Juan Pablo moved off campus this year, and I have been forced to find retail sellers. Since these are frequently out of stock, I find it works well to buy a bunch when you can get them, especially since this works to drive the shipping cost per bag down, too. You'll still probably pay more for shipping than for the candy itself, but it's WORTH IT! We can but hope Amazon decides this is a Prime-worthy item some day.
