I was a bit skeptical when I saw the listing for this chopper. It made me think of a lawnmower with it's rope pull handle. I previously had one of those choppers with the knob you repeatedly bang on with the extended W shaped blade. It was always clogging up and when the bottom popped off of it's little bowl I was done with it.The first time I used this one I was sold. It was much easier to pull than I thought it would be and quickly chopped the load up. You can control how fine it chops with the number of pulls you use. You can load it up more than you would expect but don't overdo it or the first pull will be too hard. The first pull is the hardest, each subsequent pull gets much easier. The design shield and stirs the contents for pretty uniform chopping. This is THE BEST chopper I've ever used, I ordered a second one as a stocking stuffer for my adult daughter.I will advise anyone that the blades are VERY sharp so be careful handling them.The unit is easy to clean, the blades lift right out so you can clean the base.Now for the cons. First there is a little plastic scraper that sits on top of the blades that knocks stuff of of the inside top into the tup. It works well but just sits on top of the blades and comes off easily. I knew I was going to lose this thing but a single drop of super glue attached it permanently to the top of the blade assembly. It's still as easy to clean.Due to the size of the tub you have to cut the food into fairly small pieces to get them to fit but it just takes a little time.I wonder about the life of the pull cord. It hasn't shown any signs of wear, it seems to be nylon or something, but I am sure that eventually it and the pull mechanism will fail . There is no sign of this yet but I am sure someday that will be the end of the device.There is a rubber ring on the bottom of the tub to keep it from sliding and this fell off one day. Super glue to the rescue! But that's a minor thing.In summary I love this chopper and would recommend it to anyone who wants a fast, easy to use and clean chopper. When it eventually wears out I will buy another.

Bought this to replace a cheaper one in which the blades had started to rust. This is great when you want to chop a couple of cups of vegetables or make a quick pico de gallo without having to drag out and clean a giant food processor. Which brings me to the point this is super easy to clean less than a minute. Highly recommended as a convenient kitchen item.

Works good with pull string. Don’t put too under water, I wipe clean.

I was amazed by how this little gadget worked so well! I Made Pico De Gallo with it. All the chopped ingredients chopped evenly with just a few pulls. So far so good! I like it!
