Generally good for occasional use
Compared to the price it’s very good. I expected to be lighter in weight. But in general it’s good product

Work in Progress
Buying shoes without first trying them on is not ideal, but in these lockdown times, what's the alternative? These shoes/boots seem well-made and sturdy. There's something old-fashioned about the fit; they're the right size, but I hope that in due course they'll become the right shape too. Unlike other reviews that I've read, mine are not generous in width. When out walking I can feel tension around the "crease" of the upper, around the base of my toes, with each step. I've walked maybe 10 miles in the past few days and it seems to be easing.Surprisingly, with one of the shoes I could actually feel the stitching of the Skechers label on the insole under my foot through my sock. After-market insoles cured that. And the very top back (I don't know the word for it) of the other shoe has started to rub on my achilles tendon. As I said above, all this reminds me of shoes and boots I had many years ago that needed "breaking-in". I must say that when that painful process had been endured some of them turned out to be very comfortable.I hope that that will be the case with these. If I remember I'll maybe report back here in a few weeks' time.Ten days later: Who was I kidding? Returned for a refund. Seller feedback to follow.

Comfortable and correctly sized
I have a birth defect which makes buying shoes difficult, as until I have worn them in I cannot be certain that they will fit me comfortably. These shoes were comfortable from the first fitting, and each time I have worn them since. They are finished in what might be called old worn suede, the laces pass through sturdy eyes that don not look as if they'll tear or deform with use, the soles are non-slip and comfortably absorb normal walking impacts. They arrived in a quality presentation box, which disposed me to like them even before I'd unpacked, and they were well protected for delivery. Pressed card formers can be re-used to keep their shape between use. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

Heel cut to shreds by bad design
I have a pair of Skechers 65370 and they are great looking and comfortable. I saw these and thought they looked pretty similar, so I git a pair. Whilst the soul is cushioned and they look nice, my heel got absolutely shredded by the back hard lip of the shoe. Unlike the 65370's they lack padding at the heel. They are unwearable for even a short walk now despite attempts to break them in. Using some gel heel protectors now to see of they help. A lot of money for discomfort.

Sketchers Shoe size 9
Heavy shoe. At one time I was a "Cat man" they are heavy! It will take some time to get back to wearing a heavy shoe again.Comfort wise Very good. The wide fitting helps my feet. It's a sturdy Shoe, Hope it lasts as long as a Cat!Now into Feb 2017... and the Inside sole lining is coming off... AGH.. Still a solid shoe.. hope it lasts a while yet... time will tell...Heal is a lil too big.. and makes my heal bleed.... but hopeful can weather this.. and keep going..

Generous width fitting for the wider foot
Like a lot of people have previously expressed this shoe has a generous width fitting, I have a broad foot and most shoes are too tight even with a regular shoe width, but these are very comfortable, shoe length is accurate so no need to up the size for a good fit, just order your normal shoe size. They are a good sturdy shoe and very comfortable from the outset no blisters on the heel like some shoes. It’s early days to see how the sole wears, a few people say that the sole of the heel wears quickly, so we will see if that’s the case. Overall a great shoe for someone with a wide foot who struggles buying shoes online.
