LEGO Harry Potter Collection for PS4 is a magical gaming experience!
If you're a fan of Harry Potter and LEGO, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection for PlayStation 4 is a must-have addition to your gaming collection. As a longtime fan of both franchises, I was thrilled to finally get my hands on this game and was not disappointed. The game features all seven books/movies in the Harry Potter series, allowing you to play as your favorite characters in a world made entirely of LEGO bricks. You can explore Hogwarts, cast spells, attend classes, and battle against the dark forces of the wizarding world. One of the best things about this game is the attention to detail. The graphics are fantastic, and the developers have done an excellent job of recreating the world of Harry Potter in LEGO form. The characters look and move just like their movie counterparts, and the levels are filled with small details that will delight fans of the series. The gameplay itself is fun and engaging. You'll need to solve puzzles, cast spells, and battle against a wide range of enemies. The game is designed to be played by all ages, and the difficulty level is well-balanced, making it a great choice for families to play together.Another great feature of this game is the ability to play with friends in co-op mode. You and a friend can explore Hogwarts and the wizarding world together, which adds a whole new level of fun to the game.Overall, the LEGO Harry Potter Collection for PlayStation 4 is a fantastic game that any fan of Harry Potter or LEGO should own. Great way to relive my Childhood nostalgia!
I remember owning both Years 1-4 and 5-7 as a kid back on the Xbox 360 (sadly, both copies got badly damaged over time) and playing it with my little brother. Years later, I decided to get the remaster for PS4 and I'm still not dissapointed. This game is still just as good as it was back in the day. I loved exploring Hogwarts and replaying events of the movies. You attend lessons where you can learn a new spell or skill, allowing you to progress further and unlock new areas. There's a ton of characters to unlock (which admittedly play pretty similar to one another) and even though there's no voice acting, I think that adds to the whole old school Lego game charm. Personally, I liked Years 1-4 more than 5-7 but they're both good games in their own right. I also think that the Lego Harry Potter games are the best Harry Potter games period, aside from Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban on PS2 & PC published by EA. Overall, this game is definitely worth a purchase!

Getting these 2 games in this package used on those systems is pretty cheap these days
The worth of this compilation is going to land on whether you have access to the older games via the PS3 or Xbox 360. Getting these 2 games in this package used on those systems is pretty cheap these days. However, if you're looking for a modern polish wrapped up in an easy package for your current generation machines, this package is fantastic. The visuals have been touched up with higher resolutions and a better frame rate, making it feel overall more polished than the originals. Gameplay is of course classic Lego style; puzzles, collect, enjoy. I find these games almost therapeutic in their approach to game design. They are easy games, but capture an accessibility that even the youngest gamer can enjoy, while still giving an older gamer something to entertain themselves with. Great co-op options and classic Harry Potter fan service round out a great product.
