Two apparently similar products at very different prices
I have just received this nifty little bento box, which will presumably serve as usefully as any other leak proof bento box. As mentioned by another reviewer, the little sauce tub is too tall to fit inside the box and allow the seal to close properly, which I think is a design flaw, though I suspect I am supposed to purchase a carry bag for everything for an additional tenner. The box over all isn't quite as sturdy as I had anticipated, and the "Bamboo" lid which I had naively expected to be real bamboo is simply simulated plastic. It seems otherwise sound with silicone seals to both compartments and the quality is acceptable, though probably not quite to the price paid.I paid around £25.49, reduced from £29.99 on a special deal. The original Umami Bento box price is quoted on the Amazon web page as £49.99. I am not complaining about any of that. I made a choice on price, it will serve a purpose. and I cannot be faffed to return it.What I am complaining about, is that on returning to the relevant Amazon web page to check out the finer points of the silicone seals, I was today confronted by an advertisement for another leakproof bento box which appears, from all details and photographs, to be exactly the same product sold by a different company for £14.99, although it doesn't include the little sauce pot. There are many reviews and it has been on sale on Amazon since Feb 2017, so it hasn't just made an appearance over the last couple of days. I made a pretty comprehensive search of all bento boxes on the day of my purchase, so why didn't I find it? Perhaps I just didn't see it, but it's not the first time I've had that sort of experience on Amazon. So if you are looking for a leak proof two tier bento box make sure you hunt very carefully, because you could be paying very different prices for what appear to be very similar products.

Can’t fault it!
Very happy with this product. On the pricey side but as a daily bento user build quality and usability is 100%

Very nice bento design
Very nice bento design. The box is quite sturdy, I've also put it in the microwave and dishwasher without problems. As with other bento boxes, I'm usually afraid of a lunch box leaking in my backpack because it wouldn't stay close. I'm happy to report it's not a problem at all here. Each of the two food trays have a very good silicon seal with their own lids.I've been using it for a few weeks, and I've offered a white one to my girldfriend who's using it even more regularly than I am, and she's super happy with it.

Good lunch box - not worth £30
It's a great little box, perfect for meals for one. It's a little bit of false advertising as it states there are 2 sauce pots (there is only 1) and there is also 4 pieces of cutlery (there are only 3).The quality is about a 4/5 - the top lid needs to be held on by the elastic banding that goes around the box, so I would be careful not to lose that! Another negative is that the 2 dividers - 1 of them is a bit loose and doesn't stand up on it's own which is quite annoying. The other one is fine.I love the cute little sauce pot, it's so tiny and perfect for guac or syrups - good seal around it so it won't leak. It's a shame there's only 1.The colour I chose was white to match my new travel cup, it looks really good so I'm happy about that.

It's ok, but small and expensive
Used it for a couple months, haven't had any issues with it so far. Didn't try anything very liquid, so can't really comment on that aspect. Must say I was surprised as to how small it is. I'm having issues fitting a 400 calories lunch it in most of the time, depending on what I eat.Really expensive for that size and what it is, and I didn't pay the full price. So it may look stylish, and have tiny dividers and sauce pots (that I almost never use, and when I did use the sauce pot, it got really messy), but in the end you might as well buy a tupperware for a fraction of the price. Will be easier to clean and use than a lot of tiny pieces wedging together.Oh and that sauce container is slightly too high for the box (either compartment, tried both), you have to really press it hard to close it, but since there's no locking mechanism but only an elastic band, it won't fully hold closed.I regret spending £20+ on that

Stylish food on the go.
This is a beautifully designed lunch box, with careful attention paid to the seals. It includes a well designed spoon, knife and fork in a holder that fits inside the lid.My only regrets are that the two compartments are the same size and strap isn’t adjustable. Both containers being the same size means you have to split food across the two boxes if you want to eat something like a salad. If the strap was adjustable then you could take one container out instead of both.

A very nice bento box
Aesthetically pleasing bento box . Plastic doesn't feel cheap and added cutlery set is actually usable. One thing to keep in mind is that compartments are not very deep which is a good thing for me as it prevents overeating . The the few downsides this product has is that partition bits don't sit inside to well and top lid that holds the cutlery doesn't lock in so you have to put that rubber band on . Otherwise great
