I knew I was purchasing a used book and it was listed as in good condition with some wear and tear. However, it was practically brand new and could have fooled me into thinking it was never used. Highly recommend!

Utilizing the specific chapters I had for my med surg exam HELPED. I had previously scored a 90% and this most recent exam I bumped it up to a 93.5%! The class average for the most recent exam was a 83%, so that should shed some light on how difficult the content was. A 93.5% is officially an A and creates a BIG difference in nursing school. I had used this book ALONG with other study materials, but I felt that this book gave me insight to critically thinking on content I wasn't even familiar with. If you have the financial means and are struggling or looking to bump up your grade, this is a great investment.

I bought this book to use as an additional test bank when creating nursing exams. Some students purchased the book on their own without it being required so I would change around some wording in the question or answers. From a learning perspective this book is great because it offers in depth rationales for all answers (correct and incorrect) and the questions were very relevant and applicable to the med surg course I was teaching

This is a good book. I like that it's a question-oriented book. I can hone in and get my brain into gear before an exam by answering these questions related to the topic we're studying. Some of the rationales behind the answers are a little vague for my taste. I wish that they explained a little more. Overall, I'd recommend it to a friend. I do use this in conjunction with my NCLEX book and my Medical-Surgical Nursing book by Lewis.

This book helped me understand the nitty gritty of med surg. I used it along side my textbook that I use in nursing school. For example if we were going over GI/GU in class, I would answer the questions right after I studied my textbook chapters and it helped put everything together. The rationales are pretty great and lets you know why the incorrect answers are wrong and not just why the correct answers are right. I used this for my comprehensice Med Surg hesi which has material from 6 months of nursing school and got a 98.89%. Highly recommended this book for anyone who wants questions over med surg.

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book at its most recent publishing date for med surge rotation in nursing school and nclex prep. I failed my first rotation of med surge and a professor recommended this book as a supplement to studying for my course. The rationales are absolutely amazing both for the correct answers and the wrong ones. Highly highly recommend!

I am currently in nursing school and my rotation is on a medical surgical unit, as well as my theory class covers a lot of medical surgical topics. I heard about these books to help with practice questions and boost test grades. These books are absolutely amazing. The questions are very thought out with rationales at the end of each question when you’re checking your answers. There are questions for nearly every subject matter and it really has helped bump up my test grades and my knowledge. An absolute must!

Really helped through my med surg course

I would not call a book full of notes and scribbles "very good" condition. Tricky to quiz yourself on test questions when all the answers have been circled already - and I mean all. Disappointed with this purchase. The only saving grace is it is legible, but for the price it better be.
