I doubt it. Your septic tank/system requires bacteria to break down solid organic matter. That's how it works. This stuff kills bacteria.

Q: Does it remove the stains too?

It's basically bleach spray. So maybe it could remove a mildew stain from a hard surface, but possibly leave a bleach stain on a soft surface.
