WB36X10213 20W Halogen Lamp Bulb 20W replacement for GE Microwave

I had to order 2 for the bulbs underneath the microwave above the stove. One has burned out after a month. Not sure if it's the type of bulb or my microwave. I just pressed the "Light" button on my microwave to turn them on and instantly saw a flash and heard a pop from one of the bulbs. I may see about ordering a different type to see if it holds up better.

Works fine with the dimmer control on the Kenmore elite microwave oven .

This is the 2nd set of bulbs that I had to return. The metal prongs are too far apart and do not insert into the female fitting on in the microwave. The first set, I thought it was possibly an error - possibly an incorrect parts, etc. With the 2nd set being incorrect as well, there is obviously a disconnect between the manufacturer of these bulbs and GE.

These bulbs were shorter than the ones I replaced but the base, which is the important thing, seemed to match. I did not have any trouble inserting these. I did not notice any brightness difference between these and the ones I replaced.

This drop-in replacement bulb worked just fine. My only complaint with this product is that it should never exist in the first place. Appliance manufacturers should use either mainstream bulbs or widely-spaced LEDs that will last decades.

Well, I was batting .500 for the first delivery (one of two bulbs worked). In the replacement delivery (no hassle there), the bulb worked fine.

the first two bulbs arrived damaged/defective, contacted the seller, they replied quickly and shipped replacements immediately. The third bulb works great! the bulb is slightly smaller in size than the OEM but lights up the same.

Voltage and wattage are same as the WB36X10213 Halogen Bulb. These are not GE products. The wire electrodes are cut flat and no amount of wiggling would permit me to insert them into the plugs. I even removed the base plate of the microwave to gain direct access to the plugs. To insert them into the GE light fixtures, I first had to sharpen the electrodes to a point like the GE bulbs before they would seat properly in the fixture. You save a few bucks with these, but you'll have to jump through too many hoops.
