Kind of Silly
A nameless little boy goes to bed, but can’t sleep because his mom is busy doing housework. He worries about his mom having to do everything by herself, and knows she'll be tired the next day. He finds her chore list and sets about doing all the work himself.I found this an odd little book that begins somewhat abruptly. Page One is a lone illustration of the nameless boy and the words “It’s late.” written on his head. The text font is tiny and difficult to read throughout the book and that was the first issue for me.The illustrations are cute, but the story was lacking in my opinion. I had trouble with the main concept of a small child being so concerned about his mother’s chore list at bedtime that he gets up and begins packing lunches, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, washing the babies (who apparently go to bed later than he does)… and on and on. It’s not a small child’s job to take care of his mom and even small children will probably recognize this.

Formatted to Display Properly on the Kindle Fire Screen
This is actually two books, the first one is the titled one Go to Sleep Mom! The second called Pluie revolving around a dog as the central character is better than the first and is read by continuing to flick on past the end page of the first book. Both books have been formatted for the Kindle Fire screen and take up the whole screen. They can't be viewed with the Kindle in portrait mode and automatically switch the screen to landscape. But it always great to see when authors care enough about their readers to format the books so the pictures and words display on the screen in the correct places. Really you'd think in the year 2016 this would be mandatory but you still come across a lot of poorly formatted Kindle picture books for sale on here that even if the story or illustrations are good, display as a mess. So I always take the time to mention authors who do the right thing. The first book revolves around a kid who finds a list of chores his mother has left to complete and decides to do them for her so she can sleep. He basically creates a bigger mess for her to clean up later without realising it. The second book has a small fluffy white dog living on top of a pile of rubbish at the dump. Eating garbage makes it thirsty so it intrudes on some birds in a nearby park using a bird bath, then chases some rabbits through the park and gets up to other stuff.

LENDING A HELPING HAND....
Very cute book for toddlers and preschoolers that is available in kindle and print form. After brushing his teeth and listening to a bedtime story, a young boy is off to sleep. Suddenly he hears a loud noise; his mom is vacuuming. He gets up and finds her list of chores on the floor. The boy is worried that his mom will not get enough sleep if she stays up to complete that long list of chores, so he decides to lend a helping hand. Of course those chores are done in a rather untraditional and clumsy way, but he manages to achieve them. The ending is sweet and rewarding to mom and son. This book will help young children appreciate how much effort their caretakers employ on their behalf. It encourages them to take responsibility and do their best while learning new tasks. Illustrations are simple but charming and effective. Highly recommended.

Son's Are Our Precious Commodity
I really enjoyed this cute story. It shows how little ones when faced with mom's list of chores they will do their best to try and figure it out how to help mom.The little boy finds his mom's to do list. He's afraid she will be a zombie in the morning. He decides to work on it himself. It might not be the way mom would do it but it is done with love. What happens when he is done? What does mom do? You get to listen/read to the book. Fun times to be had by one and all.

Simple, Short, and Very Cute! Excellent for gaining new perspective on the world
I love finding these discounted books in Kindle form. It helps make the decision to purchase the same or similar books in hard copy format for kids. "Go to Sleep Mom!" is the main book, but there is a bonus book at the end called "Plushie". The first is a sweet look at a child who realizes how much Mom has to do after he believes the day is over! This book is almost more for the over worked parent than the child, but in the best way. The second book, "Plushie", is about a sweet dog finding a home. I loved how he viewed all of his homes as opportunities for new experiences rather than negatively, as many adults might. Two great books on gaining perspective!

Maybe good for some not for me
Definitely not what I was expecting so it’s been returned. Not much of an actually story to read so maybe suitable for very young children but my 5 yo would probably not enjoy this one or gain much benefit from adding this to the collection.

The book had adorable illustrations. My 3 year old grandson loved the book for his bedtime story. I loved how the son was compassionate and helpful to the mom. A very great message. The bonus book was fun and had adorable illustrations with again a positive note.

A little disappointed
There is a noticeable lack of text in this paperback book. I loved the premise and was so excited to receive this as a gift to read with my toddler, but it wasn’t at all what we expected, and has only been read twice in the entire time we have had it. Our toddler does not care for it.

But despite this a great little read for little people
A novel way on how to show children how much mum's do in a day! A delightful read, informative and lovely images. I imagine it will hold children spellbound from beginning to end.I would have to say though I found the type use very small and couldn't adjust it on my kindle. But despite this a great little read for little people.

Super book!
I liked the pictures because they had lots of bright colours. I liked the words too - some were rhyming, some were short. I liked the title of the book as you have to shout it. It was good when the little boy did all the chores and put his mum to bed.
