How well would the drum sounds do for lofi grunge / fuzz / garage rock? If not, is there a way to load your own sounds from WAV files?

I think there are enough available drums on the unit to get what you need. The unit cannot load new wav samples per user, but it can trigger outboard samplers if needed. I have done several songs where I've written the parts on this unit and have uploaded the midi and retriggered a few sounds in my DAW with different samplers - EZDrummer, Studio One's built-in sampler and Impact matrix style drum machine. I've also used this with Cubase and NI Battery to trigger samples. Overall, I think the unit is robust enough to cater to styles specified. You can layer hits (trigger two snares on top of each other for example) to get a fuller sound if needed.

Are the presets (bass and drums) good for jazz and Latin? (Fusion, bop, bossa, etc)
