Exactly what I expected and maybe better. The leather doesn't seem to match the included little leather strip, so at first I thought it was fake leather. I'm still not 100% sure, but have coated it with a UV preservative and it behaves like leather. It does have a leather dye smell, but if you expect any leather bag to last, I don't know why you wouldn't treat it the moment you receive it.Now it smells like oranges (I use Howard's Sunshine Wood Conditioner and Protectant - leather is not wood, but been doing this for years on all my leather. It's just orange oil and beeswax plus UV and works fantastic and lasts a long time because it's meant to protect outdoor wood furniture).The bag size is just PERFECT for my use. I love all the pockets. Since this was a question I had when I bought it myself and did not see it in the reviews, there are 5 pockets on the 'face' of the bag, 1 attached with very sticky velcro, the rest zippered. There's 1 deep pocket in the back, also velcroed. The 'main' compartment' top zipper part facing the front has a zippered hidden pocket. The other top zippered compartment is thinner with no pockets inside (this is where I put my tablet). I count 9 compartments. The description says 11, but I don't see 11. The biggest reason I love it is while driving, a larger or differently shaped purse just flops over or I have to root around to find my phone or things in it. This purse makes everything perfectly accessible and also easy to keep in the next seat if I have a passenger (so I don't have to throw it in the back). Awesome!

I bought this for my daughter. She loves that its not overly 'girly' and uses it to carry small art supplies, a 4inch stuffy, phone, earbuds for music and audio books. It's exactly what we wanted.

As another poster noted, the strap is too short for a cross body bag and even as a shoulder bag for most people. I solved the problem by extending each side of the strap with a six inch length of small decorative chain from the local hardware store. It's a very nice bag, and is the right size for occasions when I don't want all of my pockets stuffed full with things that I need to bring.

I love this bag. I thought that I ordered black but I ordered blue. It is just beautiful. It fits my iPad Air2. There is also a nice secure pocket large enough for my iPhone6 Plus, a great slot for my mail and I use the two front pockets for my tape measures. It is soft and I do not think that the picture does it justice. In the picture it looks really chunky but it is just the right size. The numerous zippered pockets keep all my stuff safe from spilling out. I carry it from one rehab project to the next without worry that everyone can see what I have in my bag.Once I decided what goes in what pocket it made it really easy to only open the pocket that I need without having to rummage through the whole thing. If I could justify having one in every color I would buy them all but the blue is really gorgeous.
