Very surprised - great!
I was pleasantly surprised by this. I have a 3d printer but found it very fiddly. Thought I was give this a try - expected my oldest child to enjoy it. He’s not had a chance to get near it yet!The package was good - same day delivery by Amazon, the “unboxing experience” is pleasant. There’s enough stuff in there to get going - fortunately I have filament from my 3d printer and this uses 1.75 which is the same, so can use that also. It’s really quick to get going - plug in, set filament type, preheat, insert filament and go. The buttons make adjustments on the go easy - you can adjust speed, heat and pause extrusion quickly and easily. I managed to get ok quality 2d shapes on my first try and a couple of attempts got a reasonable dome (using a ball to draw around). I’m sure with a bit more practice these will come out very nicely. Was £42 when I bought. Definitely worth a try if you are interested in this sort of thing.

Works great even though my artistic skills are poor.
Product seems very well made, feels Nice in the hand.Controls are easy to understand and to use.The Pen feeds at various speeds, took me time to get a good speed for me, I think more time is required to enable me to make objects that are not soo bad as the one's in the photos. The pen does exactly what it should, but I am not very good at anything artistic. I did manage some 3D glasses and a two colour bee (just in case you could not tell what they are :-). )I got this not necessarily to make pretty models, but I can use it as a repair tool for my 3D printed objects. If you are looking at a very easy 3D printer then a pen is for you, as long as you have a steady hand. The TG-21 pen by Genetic works as it should, so I have no hesitation in recommending to others.Happy printing!

Superb 3D printing pen
I have been using superglue to attach component parts of prints together. I had heard that people were using 3D pens to do the same thing with good results. I decided on this pen as it seemed to have lots of good feedback. Boy was I glad. It feels good in the hand, is well made and is easy to use. I can dial the temperature in to get the best results. I am now able to join prints without the smell that is sometimes given off when using superglue on PLA AND the joined pieces seem to be very much stronger! My efforts to use this pen freehand to create models has been not so good. HOWEVER, this is more down to my abilities so I will need to practice much more to get acceptable results. In conclusion this 3D pen is NOT a low quality toy and I can thoroughly recommend it!

Fun and easy to use
Great value for money and it's lighter and easier to hold than my other 3D pen. My hands are kids but I'm sure everyone would find this pen very easy to hold and use.As the vents are the sides of the pen nib it's easier to manoeuvre, so they don't effect the filament as I'm doing my designs. It works well with the various filaments I have to hand including the wood filament and (Basicfil) the colour filaments came out with a nice shine. Simple and straightforward to use as the filament is simply fed into the top, press the button and the light goes from red to green once it's ready to use.I also love the colour design of the pen too.Highly recommend it.

bought as a replacment, works well
bought this as a replacment 3dpen for my old one that burnt out.mainly used to join PLA prints and fill gaps in the printfeals well balanced in the hand with the buttons for feeding in the right place all the weight is in the back of the pen so nice and easy to control.heats up a lot quicker than my previus pens but this may be because it has a power adapterfor the usb rather than having to run it from a usb port.at last someone has realised that you lay the pen down inbetween use , and this pen has a good holder that actual holds the pen in place when not in use .overall a great pen

Good quality and easy to use
Good quality product for price range. Bought for my kids to get them to 3d printing. I was use geeetech black pla and get good quality. As is my first 3d pen, my first prints wasn't great but satisfying enough. Only one disadvantage, it's bit thick, as I have a small hands. Anyway all together it's really positive experience with that pen.

Great 3d pen
The 3d pen was much better than some I have seen. This one has easy to change multiple filament types as it has a small lcd display. It also shows the current temperature which is also adjustable to suit the type of filament. Lastly it can show the speed of extrusion with has 8 different settings. The main unit is comfortable to hold and is smaller than others I’ve seen.Overall I would say if you are after a 3d pen then go for this one you won’t be disappointed.

So easy to use, Works really well
My son is really enjoying trying to make things with this, he has made a few Minecraft style items that he seems happy with, Personally for myself i have bought this to do repairs in 3d printed that have split of snapped, worked pretty well on an articulated dragon link, and have repaired a voronio chess piece with it too.My only gripe is the cable is a little too short. My final word is that this works really well and really worth the asking price
