My grandson loved it. He is autistic and hard on toys. Broke the broom very quickly but not the broom' fault! Lol It is very cute and the characters have good detail.

Our son is obsessed with this story and when we saw this set on sale just before Halloween, we knew we had to get it. The figurines are adorable and look exactly like the book. The bird doesn’t stay on super well, but the others do. So far it’s held up well to lots of imagination time at our house. My kids love to act out the story with these figurines while we read the book. It’s adorable and definitely a win at our house. I think this would be a darling gift for a teacher or librarian. It does stand alone once the broom is inserted into the dragon’s mouth, so it would look nice on display. Definitely recommend.

My kids and I love the book and cartoon of “Room on the Broom”. This toy is absolutely perfect for play while reading. I read and the children, 5 and 7, put the characters on the broom one by one and act out the story as we go along. This is a quality toy and the dragon is the perfect stand to keep everything together for display. Do not hesitate to purchase this charming set and get ready to wish there was “Room on the Broom” for you too!

I love that this is available so my kids can act out the story. This is one of our favorite books. The only problem is it’s a little fragile and the figures don’t stay in place very well.

OK, y’all. I read the bad reviews. But, my kids are Room on the Broom superfans, so I ordered anyways, hoping against hope. But, seriously, this toy is a (first world problems) nightmare. Tiny flimsy plastic pieces that are impossible for small hands to manipulate. The itty bitty pegs on the broom don’t fit in all of the teeny tiny holes on the characters to keep them on the broom. Oh, and did I mention that there are fewer pegs than characters, and that they are not in the same place as the characters in the picture of the product? Or that the witch’s body cannot be moved to get her legs out of the way of other characters? Or that the broom and character legs are such skinny weak plastic that a preschooler’s hand will inevitably break the plastic while trying to jam pieces onto the broom without them all falling off in the process? This is not the “broom snapped in two” moment we were hoping for!If you, like my family, celebrate “Room on the Broom season” from September to November each year - I suggest you look elsewhere. Even the printable activities on Julia Donaldson’s website are a far greater success than this disappointing box of plastic which I now have to remember to return!

Looking at all the product pictures, it would seem that the characters can all fit on the broom in the proper order that they are in the book/show. However, when we opened it Christmas morning we found:1) The witch can only sit in one spot - the hole on her bottom is a special shape. The other animals have a circle so they can fit on any of the other 3 circle pegs.2) the witch's hand is not strong enough to hold the cauldron3) the poster that came with it was so badly folded and wrinkled the only way you'd be able to hang the poster is in an actual frame that would hold it flat4) the bird has ginormous feet and can only face sideways on the broom.None of the things above would've been deal breakers, i probably still would have purchased it for my little guy. But it was disappointing to pay $32.00 for a little toy like this and have it show that it will be just like the book only for it to not be as advertised on the box or in the product pictures. So while it's still a cute little toy that my ROTB obsessed little boy loves - just know the quality is not as advertised and I think it's a bit overpriced.That being said, the dragon stand, broom, and characters are very sturdy - the witches hand is just too weak/flimsy to hold the cauldron.

My grandson and I had so much fun with this while enacting scenes from the book and making up new stories. The figures are exactly like the pictures in the book. Good buy.
