Great ATV storage box
We bought this for our son's 2009 Yamaha Grizzly. The storage box was fairly easy to put together and install onto the ATV. It looks great and fits well in the back rack of the ATV. It has very durable construction and closes tightly to ensure no moisture gets in the box. This is a great price, since we have seen identical ones for much higher price. We would definitely recommend this item and look forward to many years of use with this item!

Overall Good ATV box
I was worried about the mixed reviews but I can tell you I love this box. It is thick enough to handle the constant bouncing trails I ride on. The seal that came with it was worthless. It is a peel and stick foam rubber seal and the one I received wasn't sticky therefore unusable. No matter I don't believe that would hold up long to trail use. I love the fact that the Plano ammo boxes fit perfectly in the side areas so you can keep stuff dry if you temporarily swamp your bike like is prone to happen where I'm from in FL. If that's the case for you, drill drain holes in the bottom ahead of time. As for fitment, I own a 2015 Honda Rubicon and it fits great. The box also has multiple attachment points on the sides and front for bungees to carry extra gear on the lid of the box. Overall, definitely worth the $75 while its at this price.

Overall, pretty nice storage box
Overall, I am pretty happy with this box. You do have to put it together, which is not difficult (don't tighten hinges until you get rod in!). It's simple design, which means you probably won't have any problems with it. I got the Plano field box with this and I must say it fits perfectly in there. My main reason for getting this box was storage capacity and keeping my gear dry and free of dust. First thing I did after I put it together was stick it out in the rain overnight. Happy to say not a drop of water got in and we had a hard downpour that night. My only complaints would be the bungee closure straps and the tie down straps to attach to atv. I get why they have the bungee closure, it won't break but it's a pretty lousy closure. It looks like they had a different closure in the past that would probably break easily being it's used on an atv. But, it works and that counts for something. Lastly, the tie down straps, they are pretty bad. It's about as cheap of a strap as you can use (sidenote: it come with U bolts, however I switch out storage options depending on season). First thing I did after I installed was buy decent straps. I'd hate to be on the trail and a strap break. Overall, not a bad box. Would be 5 stars if not for bungee closures and tie down straps. I would buy again.

Great storage box
Nice box for the price. Only problems I had with it during the install was trying to get the rod through the hinges. They don't line up very well and had to use a hammer while trying to line it up with pliers and screwdrivers. The foam gasket that you have to install gets pinched and falls off the plastic so I do not believe it's going to last very long to be waterproof. And lastly the lockdown straps to hold the lid shut by the way they show you how to install them are way too loose and fall off. Like as if somebody made them way too long at the company. so instead I looped it around the frame of my rear rack so now it's super tight just like I want.

Plano dont fit a 2 up Cforce 800XC
Got this to go on my 2019 Cfmoto Cforce 800XC. The trunk itself appeared very sturdy and I'm sure installing it would have been easy.... if it fit. I saw another reviewer had put it on his Can Am Outlander 2 up, so I thought perhaps it would fit on my 2 up machine too! Nope. I even tried it on my sons Cforce 600, which is also a 2 up machine and in retrospect probably closer resembles the type of Outlander I saw it on. It would have fit had I taken the rear seat hand grips off. Unfortunately I had to return this box, which Amazon promptly refunded me for. So far the only rear boxes that will fit the 800XC are from a company in Russia that wants $300, and a Company out of Canada called WES Industries, who wants over $400 for their box. So until I can pony up that cash, I'm going to try a rear bag and see how that goes! I have no doubt that the this will fit all single seat machines with a rear rack.

great value!!
This was an extremely economical and useful purchase. Bought it to go on the back of my Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV. It works well. I placed it on some rubber matting on the rear cargo shelf. The ties line up really well with slots in the side of the Polaris rack. I did end up putting a rope on it as well, to keep it from sliding forward and pushing me in the back on braking or steep downhills (I had a gas can in the passenger hollow of the box - see photo). Went 500 miles loaded up, through all kinds of trails and brush. The box took a beating, but no damage, and cleaned up well when I got home. Highly recommend this.

Some improvments needed
After trying a couple cargo bags that mount to my ATV, I got frustrated with the zippers coming apart and getting stuck, I decided to look for a box. I wanted one for the rear rack, but didn't want one too big or too small. This one is just the size I was after. I can pack what I need and not have things inside bounce around. I am disappointed with some elements of this box though. First is the latches are not the correct type for use on an ATV. I don't know what they were thinking on this. The latches are lightweight metal that don't have much "snap in place" action. What I mean is that they don't stay secure without having to put a pin or lock through a hole i order to keep it in place. I have seen other latches that are much better. I had to use a bungee cord on my first ride to be sure it would not pop open. My great concern is keeping dust out. If it is not tight dust gets in. My second issue is it is a little flimsy. Not as bad as anther one I had, but enough that I have to watch when I close it to make sure the lid seats right.I feel the latch issue is enough for people to think twice before buying. I am now in seek of other latches I can replace them with.
