Intense, brilliantly done movie from people who did "The Raid"
Love this movie. An Indonesian/Japanese hybrid of a movie. The story, acting, score, everything is incredible. Plenty of shocking scenes and twists. Gareth Evans of "The Raid" and "VHS2" is on the production credits, and you see a couple familiar faces from his works. There's other movies on here that have pretty much the same or higher IMDB score and are nowhere near the level of this movie. I don't get it. Do yourself a favor and watch this if you enjoy Asian horror/thriller movies. Even if you're not familiar with those, watch it anyways.

A bad man has nothing to lose....while a good man who acts bad could lose everything... (and there is lots of blood)
Someone here already gave the best and most succinct review which is...if you like I SAW THE DEVIL --- I would bet you'll like this movie. Although....I will say there is more "message" to this one and also more surprise. My take on I SAW THE DEVIL is....sort of balls out violent, dizzying, audacious - a movie that just keeps upping itself. However KILLERS, has one half of it that has those elements and another half that is more serious. One character can't lose anything because he cares for nothing and one regrets his theory that he had nothing to lose? That might be one way of putting it. Stylish, fast-moving thriller with good actors/strong story. I think it's pretty easy to grasp if this kind of movie is your cup of tea.

Deviate Serial Killers
When I first saw the movie, it was a censored DVD from Germany (as I found out the film was cut by 11 minutes). Even though the lack of the red stuff I found the premise of the story great. These two lonely and deeply disturbed individuals finding their way together over the Internet and going into a competition was so intriguing that I couldn`t resist to order the unrated US DVD. As I expected the film was in it's whole even more disturbing than in it's butchered version. The two stars of the film did really a good job and played these two characters believeable. What I found the most interesting thing was that by showing the failures of the two when executing their vile deeds they became very human and not just unstoppable killing machines and in this regard did the film deviate from it's ilk and became even more interesting.

I liked this movie a lot
I liked this movie a lot. It wasn't an all out action movie, but more psychological and methodical, just like the killing!A note on the audio, Amazon's listing has it right. The listed languages on the back of the cover are a bit misleading. It says Indonesian, Japanese and English. Those are not selectable tracks, rather the languages that are spoken on the audio track.

Mediocre
The movie was sub par. Murders were lame and weak. Sad ending for protagonist but good ending for street justice. All the women are weak characters in this movie.

Great action
Good action. The parallels between the killers and the motivations of each is interesting.

When I saw it was from the creators of The ...
When I saw it was from the creators of The Raid I was psyched. But the impression this flick left was less than stellar. I was expecting a high octane, well-paced movie. This was very slow moving. As in a snail's pace and the critter with a shell was already across the finish line while this movie kept trudging along. I found myself forwarding through most of it. The lines were also kind of cheezy

Better than Gunwoman....
Intriguing n has a few surprises in store for the viewer. You have to watch it to draw your own conclusion but it's definitely better than Gunwoman!

Savage An Immoral To Say The Bloody??
“This could be the best serial killer movie I’ve ever seen, watching this guy transform intohis sadistic mode is nothing more than brilliant, the Asian’s do it so much better that the American’scan, because they take much more of a risk at shocking you, but it’s done with more grace,I can’t call it hard-core because of the way it’s filmed, it looks hard-core but it doesn't matter, you almost feel relived of what he’s done but you still pay no attention to what’s been done,it’s like he’s doing a service to society that he thinks is right, but I warn you it’s very graphic in it’s depiction of murder, you don’t see but you definitely know it,“Killers is one man plan to help another man become his toy killer, this story, yes it has one good one too,is all about family an why we should all stick together, but when that breaks-down the worst is yet to come, produce by Gareth Huw Evans” (the Raid Redemption an Raid 2) is one Psychological Thriller you’ll never forget,Runtime 138 Min.5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.Language: Indonesian Japanese English.Savage An Immoral To Say The Bloody??

Messed up movie!
What a messed up movie (they detail of violence is disturbing even the one struggle scene close to the beginning). Ending could have been better, but overall good nonetheless. It's like two movies in one.

Violently fun movie
Absolutely fantastic movie. Basically 2 people kill and post videos online. One is a serial killer and the other is a jouranalist going for a warped sense of justice. This film is about their finding each other and then one of them trying to quit and how the other responds. There are also subplots regarding both characters that are equally interesting. It's kind of violent I guess but I like that sort of film and it's certainly not over the top or anything. My only complaint, if I could even call it that, is how the languages they speak change for no reason. They speak Indonesian (?) (it begins with a B but I forget what's it's called) sometimes, Japanese sometimes which makes sense as it's based in Japan. One character randomly breaks into a few lines in French, I guess to show he's not a native and when the killers coming via video/phone, they always speak English. Like from the first video call the serial killer instantly spoke English without it being clear if the journalist spoke English or what. It was very annoying and I had to have the second set of subtitles on to make sure I didn't miss anything in English, because sometimes they speak so quietly I don't even realise they've spoken till a subtitle pops up. Bear in mind that's my only niggle. I would now class this as one of my favourite movies. The plot is outrageous and it's all the better for it. The acting is strong and the characters watchable. The 2 main stars also started in Raid 2 so it's definitely worth checking out.

For a Japanese/Indonesian project this is surprisingly good. Worth watching for Kitamura's dark existence
Violent and disturbing film concerning a serial killer (portrayed excellently by Kazuki Kitamura) and his online buddy. For a Japanese/Indonesian project this is surprisingly good. Worth watching for Kitamura's dark existence....
