The longer stories left over from volume one - still absolute classics.Rereading these stories makes me remember why I fell in love with science fiction in the first place many years ago.

Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Vol. Two A: I bought this book so that I could replace the original stories I had from many years ago since I enjoyed re-reading them over the years and the paper was disintegrating. However, I was very disappointed with this new book. The paper it was printed on itself seemed very easily distorted by the slightest finger pressure and the print smudged with clean fingers easily. The print itself I found hard to read because excess ink seemed to fill any alphabetical characters that printed below the set line, making it look a bit blurry. I asked two other friends, and they agreed. Nothing wrong with the stories, just what they were printed on and with. But since that is the only way I can re-read these stories, guess I’m stuck, but I would pay more to get better quality - to match the quality of the stories. Thank you.

Nachdem in "Volume One" die besten (amerikanischen) SF Kurzgeschichten (Short Stories und Novelets) aus der Zeit vor 1965 gesammelt wurden, folgen mit dieser Anthologie die erste Hälfte (11) der besten Novellen.Was soll man dazu noch mehr sagen? SF Hall of Fame: Hier ist das, was viele von uns dazu brachte, sich für Wissenschaft und Technik zu interessieren (oder selber SF zu schreiben). Tolle Ideen super präsentiert - einfach nur großartig!

Best collection ever. I loved it. And that Eric Frank Russell story is one of the best ever. And without this marvellous collection I might never have learned his name.
