I am a bow hunter, and have been for years. One of the things I hated the most about bow hunting is having no good way to carry it around while I hunt. While a compound bow is fairly lightweight, carrying obe for hours on end can get a little frustrating and very difficult, especially since I don't hunt stationary (i track my prey).I've been looking for something like this for a long time. This bow sling feels comfortable, and I'm definitely hoping I get to use it on a hunt before the year is over. Still, this seems like a winner, since i'll be able to carry my bow using my shoulder, and not have to deal with the annoyance of having to carry it by hand. Great sling!

Good sling easy to use velcro. Adjustable straps. I use it with my compound and recurve bows.

Don't dare mess around with the straps that cover the cams and have buckles that are hard to get off! This sling works awesome and like it says, you can truly shoot in 2 seconds if you have to. I have found my bow daunting to carry especially when I know I have a few miles to walk until the hunting gets good, the bad has rubber on the underside so it doesn't slip, it is easy to adjust, and the loops that stay on the bow are definitely not an issue of being in the way. If necessary- the top buckle can be unclipped and a shot can be taken, however to be walking around, stalking, it is not ideal to have hanging around. I have found that it works great to unclip and stuff quickly in a pocket.Highly recommend it! I don't know of any bow sling design that would be superior.

I just spent the last 4 days taking my bow for long steep hikes and couldn't be more happier with this sling. The sling is well made, comes off and on the bow very quick and easy. When off, I fold it up and stick in my knee pocket for easy access without having to take my back pack on and off. The sling is designed well enough that you actually don't even have to unclip it to shoot, although its very easy to do. You can easily hold the strap to the outside of your sight with the same hand your holding the bow with for a clean shot. My buddy purchased the Primos sling and hardly ever used it during the hunt due to it taking much more effort to take on and off. This sling is perfect, absolutely perfect.

A lot of times less can be more. Living in the Midwest, bow slings usually aren't necessary simply because most hunting spots usually don't require extensive hiking to reach them, and it's easy to just carry the bow ready to shoot if necessary rather than having a sling hanging annoying in the way. This last year, however, I bought this sling because a friend invited me to go elk hunting out west, and all the necessary hiking in the mountains would make it seem like I was carrying a brick rather than a bow if it didn't have a sling. NAP makes great products that have served me well over the years, so due to positive reviews this one was my choice. I gotta say, after hiking approximately 50 miles in less than a week of hunting this sling was indispensable! The bow was almost forgotten while hiking and climbing, yet when needing to shoot it quickly unsnaps from both limbs and can be stuffed in your pocket (or handed to a teenage son to carry temporarily!). It's so handy that I even ended up using it back home later in the season. This is a great product.

This is a nice sling, but other review are correct, the Velcro is not strong enough to hold a bow especially in rugged terrain. I threw some stitches into the Velcro to keep it secure. I also recommend folding back and stitching the ends of the adjustable straps to keep them from coming out of the buckles.The padding is comfortable and has a non-slip texture. I have not tried it out in the field but am looking forward to NOT holding my bow the whole time.

AWESOME! Very quick disconnect and very comfortable! I bought one for myself and one for my husband and these are perfect. Purchased these for 3d archery events and sometime you just get tired of carrying your bow and it is very quick unsnap and resnap to shoot and then move onto the next target. I'm sure these will work great during hunting season as well! Great well made product! Very happy with purchase.

So far it's been a great addition, especially for the price. It's wide enough to be comfortable and not too wide that it's bulky. It's been very secure but unclips very easily when intended. It's a great addition to help keep hands free for carrying other items into the field.

What I expected

Velcro bands that attach to bow cannot be trusted alone. Required a more robust system to attach to bow, otherwise a great accessory. I used tie wraps as additional security for fear of the Velcro strap pulling apart and having my 2100$ bow falling to the ground.

This is the worse sling I have ever used. Took it out for a day on a hunt and ended up just carrying my bow after removing it. The velcro doesn't stick together and the plastic clips hold no tension, my bow slipped out and luckily I was able to catch it before it hit the ground. The padded portion is comfortable but that's about it
