Adds a lovely scent to my clothes
This spray is aimed at sports clothing but personally, I love the smell of grapefruit and so I have sprayed it on any of my clothes as I am heading out for the day.I find it freshens the clothes and gives them a 'just washed' aroma. The smell cheers me up too as grapefruit is an uplifting aroma. It is supposed to be for clothes but I like a quick spray on my scatter cushions as it freshens the entire room and cheers me up when I sit on the sofa.I really like this spray and would happily buy it again in future.

No scent
The scent is so light that once it dries, you can't smell anything at all. I bought the sports and swim version, I may try the cashmere and wool version before I give up on The Lab Co. and try different non-toxic brand.

Works really well on my running and crossfit tops
It really frustrates me that, as someone who does a lot of CrossFit and running, my tops and shorts seem to have an odour even after having washed them. Although it's subtle, they definitely don't smell as fresh as my work clothes or clothes I wear out casually. So, when I saw this product I thought it could be the answer to my troubles!First of all, this is simply a 150ml bottle that you spray a couple of times onto your clothing using the press down button on top of the bottle. A thin mist will jet out and cover a good amount of your clothing. Leave your clothing to dry for a short while and the formula gets to work and leaves you clothes smelling like Ylang Ylang & Cuban Grapefruit - which is a kind of citrusy, flowery smell. I would say it smells very fresh and not too feminine, so guys should be fine using this as well as ladies.I grabbed some vest tops I've got in draws upstairs and found that spraying this on them did indeed make them smell much fresher. Often, if a top has a mild odour, I'll pick out another one, but I've been happy enough with this spray that if I find a top that does smell a little (after washing) I'll spray it with this and wear it out to the gym.I have noticed that the tops I've been doing this with has begun to smell less after washes, so hopefully using this spray regularly will rejuvenate them.I would also say that I personally appreciate the fact this spray is vegan friendly. Although it is less important, the bottle and even the clear liquid have a very nice minimal style to them. It feels very 'clean' to use and the marketing material promises no harsh chemicals or toxins, which I trust.Overall, a really simple to use spray that works really well.

The Lab. Co Sports Fabric Mist - Refresh Your Trainers Easily
On the inside of training shoes amazing. Tried this out on sons trainers after he’d worked out and they were left smelling fresh and not whiffy at all. One for keeping for all our outdoor footwear in winter months I think it if not worn for a while and left in cupboards. Really freshens them up without washing them and doesn’t soak them through. One of the better smelling foot solutions I’ve found so far.

Fairly generic smell that doesn't linger long enough
While it’s labelled ‘sports’, the scent of this spray feels like a more general ‘laundry’ smell. It’s a neat short-term way to make your clothes smell freshly washed when they haven’t been- at least for a short period of time. There’s a hint of the grapefruit citrus tang to it if you get very close, but it’s mild and certainly not indulgent. If you’ve been sweating profusely from a parkrun, this scent alone is not going to magically set you up for the rest of the day, it’s not strong enough. The effect is fairly short-lived, it has a longevity similar to an average spray deodorant, very refreshing at the moment of spray but with diminishing returns as the minutes pass, and you have to get closer and closer to actually sniff it.The current asking price for a 150ml bottle is nine quid, which is way too high. There are other sprays available that might be just a tiny bit less exotic, but do the job just as well, and with slightly better longevity as well. For less than the cost of two of these 150ml bottles, you could currently buy a SIX pack of larger 250ml bottles from Dettol, and the overall effect is roundly the same- though of course the branding is less cool.I don’t mind the scent of this at all, but the slightly disappointing generic character of it, the underwhelming longevity, and the price, all club together to leave it as only a three star item.

Sports Fabric Mist.
I can honestly say this spray is really good. My only gripe is that the lovely scent of grapefruit does not last. I sprayed it on my walking gear and they smelt so fresh and citrusy. Changed into this set an hour after spraying and the aroma had graduated to a faint scent that was hard to make out. This is the fourth one of these I have and I think they are a bit hit and miss. If the formula lasted this would be a five star product. It does freshen my clothes up though in between washes.
