These are always sold out at Home Depot, and for good reason. They trap lint effectively and are by far the least expensive option for that purpose. Very glad to have these as an option.

I have been using this product for over 15 years and they are great.Neat, easy to use, and disposable.It's always amazing to see how much I'm saving from going into my drain pipes.These used to be available in the big box retail hardware center, but when they stopped carrying them, I was lucky to find them on Amazon.I will always use these, for as long as I have a washing machine!

I have cats. They love sleeping on my bed. This equals cat hair in the washer when washing bedding. After cleaning out a clogged drain and finding hair in the clog that clearly was cat hair, I installed one of these on my washer drain hose. It’s caught quite a lot of hair that otherwise would have been clogging up my pipes. Update: after 2.5 months, it was time to change the screen. It was packed full of hair and lint. Whether that was a contributor to a recurring drain clog, I can’t prove, but it certainly wouldn’t have been helpful. It’s pretty easy to see how it would stick to any fats/greases in a drain and become a clog.

These work well but are a pain to cut when you need to toss. They also only lasted one week of laundry. They were full after three-four loads. But i guess thats good!
