Perfect for my large safe
I had intended to purchase a roll of LED lights to do a 'custom' lighting job on my gun safe. It's a large 6'x4'x3' safe, and I was worried I wouldn't have enough lighting with this kit. I was wrong. After adding up all the items I'd need to install the 'tape' type LED lights, I found that this kit was much cheaper and easier to install, and provides more than enough light. I received the kit on time and in good shape. I guess I expected a big box, but the whole kit comes in a box about 2"x2"x14" or so. I opened it up and found exactly what is in the advertised picture. 6 light strips, 5 extension cables, a power supply and the all-important motion sensor. Cables are well insulated, and everything seems to be 'injection molded' and pretty well sealed. After determining how I wanted to place the light bars inside the front section of the safe, I put everything together, plugged it in, and hung it by sticking push pins into the holes in the ends of the light strips. This was just to do a mock-up test, to see if I liked the light placement. I put one strip at the top and bottom of the safe, and two on each of the sides. With that, I ended up using only three of the five extension cables. But after I pushed the pins into the interior drywall material, it appeared so solidly hung, I never bothered to peel the tape off of the lights. Everything stays just fine because the light bars are so light. BTW, the 3M tape is on two sides of the light bars, and runs the full length. Its on a 45 degree angle to the light strips, so that two sides can be peeled and stuck into a corner. There are also holes at both ends of each light strip, so you can screw them down if you want (or use push pins, like I did). As far as the lighting goes, it's crazy bright. The light itself is very... 'white', meaning there is very little 'yellow' tinge to it. The box says "Daylight 5000k" for the color. I would imagine that if you tried to put these lights in the back of the safe, or in a place where they would be seen directly, they would be annoyingly bright. But putting in the front section of a safe is perfect, flooding it with light. The box also gives the following information: Brightness is 150lm/bar, 900 lumins in total. Lifespan 30,000 hours, beam angle 120 degrees, LED density is 18 LEDs per bar, CRI>80, size 11.81x0.59.0.39 inch/bar. Sensitivity distance 0-26 ft, Sensing angle is 120 degrees, input voltage 100-240V, output voltage is 12V, and the Delay Time is 4 minutes after no motion is detected. 3 year warranty. I was initially going to put the sensor on the back wall of the safe, but found there would not be enough cable in that configuration. Instead, I put the sensor on the floor of the safe, and it works great. It turns on within about a second, and in fact I was worried that it wasn't shutting off, but I left the door open and indeed it went off after 4 minutes. Before the door is fully open, the lights are on. I may have been equally impressed with the finished product had I used the LED lighting on the tape that comes in rolls, but you just can't beat how fast and simple this installation was. Literally, unboxing to mock-up was under 5 minutes. I had everything installed in under 15, and I didn't have to cut or screw anything like I would have with the roll of LED tape. Installation can NOT be screwed up. There are 'male' and 'female' ends to every component and cord, and there's no way to screw up. Unlike the LED tape type, everything can only go together one way, which is great. You can connect the five 'extension cords' however you like, or not use them at all. If you want to extend something, just unplug that section, and stick in one or more of the extension cords. Male to female, that's as hard as it gets. The only 'down-side' is that some people may want the ability to switch colors, which this doesn't do. Personally, I wanted white only, no remote to mess with, automatic on/off, and simple install, so this is perfect for me.

Excellent value and easy to install
I have these in all three safes as well as every closet in the house. The low voltage / no heat nature of the lights along with the motion sensor to turn them on make them ideal closet lighting. These kits are as close to perfect as I could imagine. Easy to install, inexpensive, reliable, low voltage, and no fire hazard from light bulb heat. What's not to love?

Great Safe Lighting
These are really great. Install is easy enough. They’re really bright. Definitely makes standard safe feel more premium.

LED MOTION SENSOR LIGHTS
It took me about 4 hours to set them up. I chose to use them in the Kitchen and surprise 😲 🥳☺️🤗😎🤓 my WIFE when she got up today. I started a little after 2 am while she was sleeping, and finished around 6am just in time for her waking up. I sat on the back porch and watched her through the window as she walked to the Kitchen 😂. They came on before she could flip the light switch we usually use in there. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping 🤞for 😂 ❤️! Honestly I couldn’t figure out how to use the velcro strips for the love of God and all that is Holy! There were 12 velcro strips (2 for each LED), but no ‘opposing’ velcro to stick to the walls (You would need 24 total and opposing velcro). The velcro included doesn’t ‘stick’ to itself, so again, I HAVE NO IDEA how it’s supposed to be or work. There are no detailed instructions for this, and there was only VERY GENERAL instructions included period. I know it’s not rocket 🚀 science 🧪 🔬, but…..if I’m an idiot for not figuring it out so be it! I ended up using a strong stapler to secure them under my kitchen cabinets because drilling a bunch of holes wasn’t in my morning agenda 😂. I wish there were a way to turn them OFF as NEEDED without having to ‘unplug’ from the wall, because once they are plugged in, that’s it, they STAY ON indefinitely minus the motion sensing feature of course. It’s a powerful sensor apparently, because they come on from alll the way across the house. I kinda wish they didn’t do that until we were actually IN THE KITCHEN, but oh well. This is the first time I’ve purchased anything remotely like this at all. I bought them because of decent reviews and a sale. I did reach out to Amazon regarding a question regarding this product with zero response yet, and it’s been about a week. On the manufacturer’s website they sell extra sensors and plugs 🔌 for the wall. I couldn’t find those 2 things on Amazon unfortunately. In my mind before I bought them, I originally had an idea 💡 to buy 2 sets and use them in different areas of the house, and for other purposes. I was going to need those 2 extra accessories, but I ‘trashed’ that idea since Amazon doesn’t sell em. The website didn’t have the same sales or free shipping or discount codes so I wasn’t going to invest extra money for something I didn’t even know was worth it to begin with or not. Overall I’m pleased with the lights. I could think of several other ways the system could be better but, I’m glad I bought them for now. I’m hoping they last at minimum a few years since it took me a long time, and I got sweaty 🥵 😅 😝 😂! Edited to add: We like them so much, we bought a 2nd set so that if something happens to the first set we will have a backup.

Great set of lights for a gun safe
Love these lights the cord length is ideal for a large gun safe allowing enough room to place where needed. I like the way it includes little velcro strips to mount lights in corners around the inside of the door of the safe. the brightness of the lights allows me to see the whole interior of the safe clearly the color of the lights is a bright white which allows you to see things inside like natural light. I have a set of these in another safe for a few years so durability and versatility I can vouch for over time. This is a great product i bighly recommend.

Ever open a closet and it’s basically a dark cave?
Believe Me It’s Good – Amazon Find Edition We installed the TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit in a closet instead of a safe and it worked great. The kit comes with 6 linkable LED light bars and a motion sensor so the lights automatically turn on when the door opens. Installation was simple and took about 10 minutes using the included double-sided tape. The kit also includes screws if you want a more permanent installation. The cables between lights were more than long enough and allowed us to run them almost a foot from the floor. The main power cord is roughly 4 feet long and we actually had extra length that needed to be coiled up. In our case we installed an outlet in the closet because we plan to place our WiFi router in there, so plugging it in was easy. The motion sensor is very sensitive — even a shadow can trigger it — so opening the door activates the lights instantly every time. The brightness is more than enough to fully light the entire closet as shown in the photo. Pros: • Very bright LED lights • Motion sensor works instantly • Plenty of cable length between lights • Multiple mounting options (adhesive or screws) Cons: • No cable management included for the wires (no zip ties or clips) Overall this kit works great and would be useful not only for safes but also closets, cabinets, or other dark spaces.
