Since 1 star means zero, I'm giving this 1 additional star because the bluetooth connection is in fact functional, the listed battery life is better than other alternatives I looked at (though I did not want to use these long enough to verify that), and the adapter to my Bose headphones fit perfectly.But I am returning it, because:(1) The volume controls are terrible -- you have to hold down one of the side buttons until it starts changing the volume, but if you let it go after changing by just one increment, the other function of the button, skip forward/reverse will activate. This is bad enough for me to consider it broken.(2) Sound quality is poor -- poor enough for me to notice right away, and I'm no audiophile.(3) The latency (delay) added by the bluetooth connection was way too long to be tolerable. For example, Ok Go's new video "The One Moment," which requires good audio/video alignment to enjoy properly, is basically unwatchable with this adapter.

The build quality is good and the weight is low. However, the sound is muddy and colored as though dynamic range has been compressed. This adapter adds distracting sonic artifacts. This adapter makes my premium headphones sound like cheap junk. My other bluetooth adapters sound better.

I just bought replacement earpads for my Bose QC15 headphones. While shopping for them, I came across the Poyatu Bluetooth Adapter and am a VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!!I now enjoy the Bose headphones without having them connected to my phone or iPad! Truly LIFE CHANGING!I spent around $22 for "wireless headphones" instead of Several Hundred Dollars for another Bose-quality system.JUST-DO-IT!!!!@

This cheap little gadget is great if you want to convert non-blue tooth headphone like BOSE QC2 to listen to music, HOWEVER IT WILL NOT SYNC WITH SOUND/VOICE ON VIDEO PLAYBACK INCLUDING MOVIES! Should be listed on product details.

Works great for my husband's Bose QC15 earphones! Uses it to listen to our TV due to hearing loss. Also use's it on his iPod while mowing our lawn with his riding mower.

This worked really well for me. Good range from the phone. I went to the bathroom on a plane & left my phone at my seat and it stayed connected. It's kind of a bummer that it dangles down vs being tight to the headphones but the performance was good.

Just buy the official Bose ones.
