Great for storing small items such as keys, usb sticks, etc, etc.This tem will offer some level of crush protection and will keep items dry if they happen to just fall overboard. However, don't expect this item to remain waterproof, or the contents dry at depth...so don't go stuffing this into the pocket of your BCD ahead of a dive.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but with a title like "diver's egg", I actually assumed this drybox would have some measure of water resistance. Not to be. Before it even made contact with water I knew this item would fail. First, the O ring for the egg had a cross sectional diameter that was way too small. Second, as an injection moulded piece of plastic, the two contact surfaces that come together when the egg halves are screwed together was just too imprecise. Couple that with the aforementioned pitifully thin O ring, and there was no way on earth this would ever form a watertight seal. I submerged the egg to a depth of 10m, and it leaked.Conclusion? It may well be waterproof on the surface, but clearly can't handle even 1 bar of water pressure. it should not be called a diver's egg, because no scuba diver could ever make use of it. Avoid.

Expected some kind of rubber seal around where you open it but there is none. Seems to be waterproof so far. It is exactly the same as Mares drybox, the only difference being the logo. Perfect size for car key (seperate key and electronic thingy) and I'm able to fit the car key, 5 normal keys and there is still room for more.

Buscábamos un manera de ir a la playa sin tener que estar preocupado de las llaves del coche y de la casa cuando hacíamos snorkel, cuando nadie se quedaba en donde las toallas o cuando nos alejabamos por la razón que fuera. Con este bote hemos solucionado el problema, ya que metemos las llaves en él y así nos las podemos llevar al agua sin problemas ya que no permite la entrada del agua. El bote flota y aunque trae un cordón para colgar en el cuello, nosotros solemos colgarlo cruzado como si fuera una bandonera porque así nos resulta más práctico no notando que lo llevas.No le doy 5 estrellas porque me parece un poco caro pero soluciona el problema a la perfección. También podría ser un poco más pequeño pero tampoco es una pega porque ni molesta y permite meter más cosas.

Jeder Taucher kennt das Problem wenn man mit dem Auto zum Tauchplatz gefahren ist, sich angerödelt hat und losgehen will aber was mache ich mit dem Autoschlüssel?Lasse ich das Auto offen und verstecke in im Auto oder schließe ich das Auto ab und verstecke in woanders?Dieses Diveregg ist perfekt für dieses problem, meisten kommen dann alle Autoschlüssel von den Kollegen in mein Auto und ich schließe dann meines ab und packe meinen Schlüssel in mein Diver egg, Binde dieses am Jacket fest und packe es zusätzlich in die Tasche vom Jacket.
