Fantastic Find
It's so hard to find Acini De Pepe in grocery stores these days and I can't always get to a proper Italian Importer. Thank you so much for offering this. I sure miss the convenience of NYC where this was everywhere and I didn't have to seek it out, but am so glad Amazon is carrying this quality brand. Beautiful texture and perfect size. I've made Pastina twice already. Yummy. Thank You.

Excellent pasta!
I've tried other common brands you'll find at your supermarket but they're no equal with their bland flavor and sometimes indigestibility. I have used De Cecco pasta for years and can confidently say there is a difference. When cooked as instructed on the package(s) you will have al dente perfection and a perfect rustic, nutty flavor due to the high quality flours used to make it and the slow drying method used by De Cecco.

This is great pastatini to use for soups and pasta dishes. My favorite way to eat it is with just butter and parmigiana cheese!

Good tasting pasta. Continues to absorb broth for hours after fully cooking. You have been warned.

Perfect for Italian Wedding Soup
I was afraid pasta so tiny would cook in about 2 seconds and get instantly mushy, but not at all. It took a normal amount of time to cook and was perfectly al dente, even after the soup sat in the fridge a few days and was then reheated violently in the microwave. Find a suitable strainer before you cook it, as it will go right thru the holes in most strainers. Super fast & easy: the pasta + couple cartons of chicken stock, bag of frozen Italian meatballs (cut into quarters after cooking for smaller meatballs), bag of fresh spinach chopped up, & a few carrots, chopped into small pieces.
