I have been ordering my favourite scent, mulberry, candles from Shorties'. The fragrance of the candles in jars were above and beyond the other brands' mulberry scent. The last order I placed was for the votive kind, for a special occasion. The first 2 candles' of the six : rhe scent was wonderful. The rest I have lit and have smelled hardly had any scent at all. The box that they were shipped in has more of the mulberry scent than the votives. I will order one jar candle to see if it has the strong mulberry scent as the previous ones I ordered. (Plus the jar candles burn a terrific mulberry fragrance to the very bottom.)

These peppermint candles have become my favorite scent. I have frequent headaches and the peppermint scent relieves some of the pain. It is a gentle and light scent. I just want to pass this along to you, though. With my latest order the wick on each votive candle was upright, but after the candle burned for a couple of times, the wick went sideways. It happened on all 6 candles. The wax snuffed out the flame. I had to dig out some of the wax with a toothpick and pulled up the wick so I had more time to burn the candle. However, the wick kept falling sideways. Ha Anyway, I highly recommend Shortie's Candles!

Bought the Bayberry to give to friends to burn on Christmas Eve. The tale is that they are from a friend and when burned to the socket it brings joy to the heart and gold to the socket! This burned for about an hour and won’t burn any longer. I usually buy Yankee candles and they burn 24+ hrs every year! SUPER disappointed!!!

I bought these back in Dec 2016 and was very happy with them. I just burned the second set of 3 in Dec 2017. The wicks were plenty long enough and the candles burned evenly. I see that some of the more recent reviews mention these negative points, but that wasn't my experience.

These are the best, most efficient burner votive candles I have ever purchased. (Christmas Tree scent.) I'm surprised by the negative reviews because the two boxes I ordered burned cleanly and so efficiently that literally only the metal wick stand was left when it was done. I've never bought a brand of candle that burned so efficiently every time. I'm about to order votives from Shortie's in two other scents, I was so happy with how well these burned! (And how well-scented there were too.)

They're really powerful-smelling which is wonderful, but a lot smaller than I was expecting. It said the oz but I don't really process things by weight very well. They were probably 2 inches tall with a diameter of an inch and a half. If I knew how small they were I probably wouldn't have bought them because I don't think they're worth rhe price for it.

These candles only burn about half way down before they burn through the sides and are useless.I previously tried the tea lights and loved them. I will stick with those.

I find the scent from wax candles is more enjoyable and disperses better. I would not buy soy candles again. I don't like the way they burn and the scent experience is diminished.

I like that they are SOY and that the scent is made with ESSENTIAL OILS. Long burning and well packed. I love the Bayberry Fir scent. The votives are long burning and good quality. I get candles from friends and family from other places and they all smell like chemicals and do not burn well. The price is good and the shipping is good value. Keep up the great work. These were expensive (paid in US dollars which means a 30% exchange rate, plus had to pay for delivery), but I've looked everywhere in the Toronto area for bayberry scented candles and could not find them. I was happy to have been able to get them through Amazon,in spite of the cost because of purchasing with Canadian dollars. They are exactly as I expected...votive sized, and a lovely bayberry scent.

I love these peppermint votives, not only soy based but smell sooooo good!!! thank you!

Haven't melted them yet but they smell wonderful.

poor value, fast burning and very expensive
