Great box set. Sound excellent and mini lp packaging faithful to the original releases.

Great if love music

If you're a fan of rap and techno whatever you'll probably hate this set but if you like good music than get this. Mark covers many different styles but keeps it smooth and enjoyable. Noting too much or too little. I was surprised to hear James Taylor's voice on a song. Great writing and performing. The plastic free case saves space. My only negative is one of the albums isn't mixed very well otherwise the production is great. Get this.

A Great CD set!

The albums in the box are top quality, but the two studio albums that Knopfler produced with Chet Atkins and Emmy Lou Harris during the time period listed are not included. If you are a true fan of MK, these are glaring omissions. I bought all of his albums on CD when they were first released, and just about wore them out over the years. I got this collection to replace the originals, but now I'll need to purchase the two collaborations separately. The second compilation for 2009-2018 stops at Down the Road Wherever and doesn't include the Atkins or Harris albums either, as they were pre-2009.

It's amazing to hear how far an artist like Mark Knopfler has come since his days with Dire Straits. I have wanted this box set for some time and when it was available for under $150 I was all over it. Definitely worth it, the quality is good, one of the disc's popped a lot on one song but all things considered I'm real happy with it. Once the second box set gets reduced to under $150 it's mine!

What a great artist

This is a wonderful collection of the first four studio albums of Mark Knopfler. The fifth CD is a collection of B-sides. The sound was terrific on every CD. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Buenos cd con una buena presentación

Pour la musique cinq étoiles puisque l'on ne peut pas mettre plus !!! Le son est un pur bonheur !!! Pour le contenant, le coffret, pochettes, etc... du travail baclé !! une honte !! Grosse déception !!! Le deuxième box est copie conforme à celui-ci !!! Maintenant la musique est exceptionnellement bonne et le son est vraiment excellent.

Dobór płyt Marka Knopflera wyśmienity. To rewelacyjny przekrój możliwości artysty. Piosenki na ogół spokojne, melancholijne nawet. Ostrzej nieco był w Dire Straits. Na plus więc wspomniany repertuar, jakość wykonania okładek i całego zestawu. Lekki minus to jakość tłoczenia. Lekki, bo we wszystkich płytach tylko kilka "pyknięć" a jedna z płyt delikatnie wygięta (faluje). Odtwarzanie poza wspomnianymi uwagami bez większych zastrzeżeń. Opinie na forum były bardzo różne, mnie się widać udało w miarę dobrze trafić. Niestety w dzisiejszych czasach tłoczenie to ogromna loteria.

if you like dire straits ;that aint it not a lot of rockin here much too laid back to my taste and ive already got 2 cds ( with bonus tracks ) from this box set; but here its only they normal cds without they bonus tracks so a bit disapointing box set;;; sorry

Bellissimo cofanetto di album di Mark Knopfler pubblicati da solista, molto belli, la qualità audio è buona-ottima, credo che nella rimasterizzazione si poteva fare qualcosina di più, ma al prezzo offerto da Amazon direi che sono più che accettabile. Il cofanetti si presenta con i cd nella confezione di cartoncino, ma vi sono inclusi le copertine fronte e retro se si vogliono inserire in delle custodie adatte, io li ho lasciati dentro il cofanetto per averli tutti insieme, cofanetto semplice ma molto carino, a me è piaciuto tantissimo.
