This is my second pair of ECCO shoes. They fit true to my shoe size. They are super comfortable to wear and I like that they're a tennis shoe without looking too sporty. They are not bulky like most tennis shoes and look great even when I wear a sun dress. I just use a magic eraser and wipe them down when I get any marks on them. That seems to do the trick.

These shoes are amazing ! I had a severe leg injury and suffer from sciatica and chronic pain. I frequently order multiple pairs of shoes, and often give up due to lack of finding shoes that I can walk in comfortably. I also work in a hospital as health care provider so I am on my feet for long periods. These shoes are amazing for the price. I have had multiple eccos and the fit, style and comfort is superb in these. I will be buying more in various colors.

I have a lot of Ecco walking shoes in various styles that fit my narrow foot very well though they are sized as medium. These were impossible to fit even with added inner soles—just too wide a foot base and too big around even with a thick sock. Too bad, very cute.

This is the third time in the past 10 years that I’ve purchased the same model from ECCO. I love how these sneakers look neat and sleek on the foot, made of soft leather and completely black, including the sole. They also pair perfectly with different clothing styles. True to size. I really hope ECCO brings them back, since I noticed that this year’s collection mostly features sneakers with white soles and a chunkier design, which I personally don’t like as much.

I got these shoes to walk all over Spain in for the next 6 weeks. I was originally going to go with Vionics but couldn't get a shoes I liked in the time I needed it. I found these instead, it was important to me that I get a walking shoe brand for these. I have worn them around my house all day doing various last minute cleaning, packing and remote work. I will be honest, the comfort is less than I expected and it actually makes me really sad. I don't have to time to find something else so I put inserts in these and I'm hoping for the best for the next 6 weeks. Someone did make a comment that they squeak when you walk, on hardwood for example, and this is VERY true! I didn't think it would be so bad but they are LOUD. I'm hoping as I break them in it will go away and I'm hoping it won't be a noticeable problem while I'm abroad. I will say, for the price I'm feeling disappointed. I will write how things go in Spain when I return. 6 weeks later I will say that I stand by my "okay comfort" judgement. I walked all over Spain in these and had to switch them for my Chacos a few days because it made the ball of my foot so soar. I would say I liked them for the fashion aspect and since I own them I will wear them for short walking occasions and until I can't but I wouldn't buy them again.

My job involves long stretches of periodic standing and sitting. Some of my shoes were fine for walking, but my feet would sting when I stood still or sat. Some of my shoes felt good when sitting, but my feet would hurt when I stood or walked. These babies can handle walking, standing, and sitting. Nice grip, but they can squeak a little when walking on certain floors. It doesn’t bother me, but that might be someone’s deal-breaker.

I'll join the chorus in affirming that these shoes are not leather -- at least, the black ones I ordered are not. Shame on Ecco for misrepresenting the fabric makeup of the uppers. That said, I like the fact that the insoles are removable (I wear orthotics) and always appreciate a good oxford tie fit. I am debating about whether or not to keep them. They are comfortable around the house but since they are polypropalene (or something plastic) they will not "breathe" and I am not sure they will feel as nice after a long walk. Again, I'm so disappointed in Ecco... used to be a reliable company and my go-to for quality shoes. It seems they have caved to economics: lower prices, inferior product. I welcome their response to this review! UPDATE: I did return the shoes, alas, when my feet felt damp after a mere stroll around the house.

I should’ve tested this by walking around the house before testing them outside. It looked really cute but they’re not comfortable at all! Gave me scratches and blisters at the back of both of my heel after using these on a trip for the very 1st time. For an expensive shoe I’ve expected more from Ecco. Some of the reviews were right that these are not leather. They don’t breathe and it will make your feet really hot. Removed them in the plane so my feet can rest. I also have Frye white leather sneakers and it’s the best compared to these. I felt a huge difference in quality and comfort. So this is my worse buy and worse shoe!
