Progressive InternationalCollapsible Party Carrier

I wasn't into cupcakes until a little challenge came up at work about 18 months ago and since then I've been experimenting ever since with about 400+ cupcakes baked under my belt. I realized I needed a carrier for transporting cupcakes to work and parties since the hobby seemed to be sticking to me for more than a minute. I preferred the collapsable design but the mixed reviews of this carrier prevented me from purchasing it until about 6 months ago.I have to say I'm very happy I did. I have not had any signifigant issues with this carrier. The cavet is though, I've never tried carrying it by the handle and double, triple check the locks. I would recommend not carrying this by the handle.I have used this close to 20 times to transport cupcakes to work and parties. Cupcakes are very easy to manage in this carrier - I have not had any lost "frosting" or decorations ruined and I'm known to load the frosting and decorations on the cupcakes! I even used the carrier (minus the cupcake trays) to transport a petite wedding cake (high top cake for bride and groom). I used this for my cake decorating classes all summer too. Every time it worked as designed.There are two issues I have with this carrier I would share with someone contemplating purchasing this. First, as noted by others, the cupcake trays do not lock into the bottom of the carrier. It's snug once the carrier is locked but I did have an almost wreck when the cupcake tray moved a little on me when I was filling the bottom tray. The second issue would be the "collapsable" feature and this is more of a worry / concern. I've been watching it very carefully and the carrier does not show any wear; however, I'm nervous this material will eventually give preventing its use and/or comprimise the structural integrity of the carrier. I try not over "collapse" / store without collapsing it if I'm going to use it within a week - which goes against the main reason I purchased this one. Again, this is just a fear at this point.I would love to have seen this with a mini-cupcake tray option too. They have been pretty hard to transport without lossing a few each time.Overall I would recommend purchasing this carrier if you're a frequent cupcake / round cake baker with the disclaimer don't carry it by the handle and double check the locks whenever you start to transport something in this carrier.

I was debating for a long time whether to purchase this product because of some of the low reviews. Since majority of the reviews were positive and this was a product that I could really see myself utilizing, I decided to purchase it and try it out. Now that I own it, I am able to understand and provide clarification on the few issues that everyone’s had. Anyone who has given this product a bad review basically has two issues: the cupcake tray sliding around AND the handle not being strong enough to carry. Problem 1: the tray sliding around when the cover is not on. Solution: the tray and cover are designed to make it easier to transport the cupcakes, that’s it. If you want to remove the cover for the purposes of serving the cupcakes, remove the base as well and the cupcake tray won’t slide around. OR take the cupcakes out of the tray once you are ready to serve. Problem 2: the handle not being strong enough to take the weight of cupcakes and/or cake during transporting. Solution: I realize a lot of people have lost their baking masterpiece due to this issue so your disappointment is justified. But one look at this carrier and you can tell it will be risky to carry it by only the handle. The carrier is fairly big in size and it has to be to transfer 24 cupcakes. That’s the price you pay for the convenience of the capacity you get since most carriers can only accommodate 12 cupcakes. Also, with baked goods (especially cupcakes and cakes), you should always use precaution and place one hand under the carrier. Regardless of how strong the handle or hooks are that hold the cover to the base, it’s not worth risking losing your yummy treats that you worked so hard on!Having said all that, I think all the pros of this product definitely outweigh the 2 cons. The pros are, it can transfer both cake and cupcakes so it’s 2 in 1. It can transfer 24 cupcakes! It has plenty of room to support the frosting for decorated cupcakes without messing it up. The cupcake trays can be used to serve as well since it has those convenient finger slots to pick up the cupcakes. It’s a huge space saver because it collapses.I think the two small issues are easily resolvable and the pros are something no other product offers.

I got one of these for myself and loved it so much that I bought one for my mom for Christmas. She let me know that one of the fasteners that snaps to hold the carrier closed was broken when she opened it, so I contacted the seller, and they sent a replacement part promptly.

Me encanta su doble altura, el poco espacio que se utiliza para guardarlo, la base con separaciones. Lo he usado por meses sin ningún problema

Es excelente, me encantó y es una buena forma de transportar un pastel o cupcake. Muy útil y el material se ve resistente.

Me gusta hornear y siempre estaba en búsqueda de dónde guardar mis panes y pasteles, pero no tengo espacio para guardar un contenedor de estas dimensiones, el hecho de que el domo se colapse es muy conveniente, el material es de buena calidad y tiene la adición de las bases par huevos, en mi caso no le he dado uso, pero pude almacenar empanadas en la parte de abajo de la base y en la parte de arriba, lo cual resultó en mayor aprovechamiento del espacio. Es seguro de transportar con la jareta, la tapa está sujeta firmemente.

Rating this a 3 as the trays spin too easily and this is a bit of an issue for me.

Expandable cake or muffin carrier. Great size expanded,great size for storage.
