Update: I’m halfway through my first bottle after 3 months and I’ve gotten lazy and use it about once a day. First picture was a week before using this cleanser, second picture is 3 months later. I still get hormonal breakouts around that time of the month and both pictures were taken on the last day of the worst of my breakouts from that. For me, my breakouts are less painful, they don’t cluster as much, and they clear up a lot faster (less than a week). Also, if I skip a day of using the cleanser I don’t immediately breakout like I used to. My skin has found a fairly happy medium. Hopefully after a year it’ll get even better.Original: I’ve been using this cleanser for a month and it works so well I almost want to cry. I’m actually frustrated that it took me so long to find this and that I finally have clear skin when I’m 24 years old. I’ve had acne since middle school and I’ve tried a lot of drugstore products (and Clinique and proactive, etc.) but it just kept the worst of it at bay but I still had regular breakouts and always had at least 10-15 blemishes on my best days. I marked on my calendar when I started using this product and actually counted my zits (I know, gross) but yesterday was one month and I went from 30 down to 1..... literally 1. I still have scarring from my acne (which I’m working on) but to not have more zits popping up everywhere is amazing. I’ve switched over my targeted medication to benzoyl peroxide too and I do use my regular toner and moisturizer that have salicylic acid in them and that combination works for me. My skin isn’t dried out, but that because of my medicated moisturizer and I have a secondary moisturizer I use for travel and in the evenings a few times a week to keep my skin happy. The best moment was yesterday when I visited my parents and my mom told me my skin looked clear. She was shocked. I was shocked. It was great.

This produce has greatly helped reduce impurities on my face and worked quite fast for me. After cleansing with it, my skin feels refreshed and smooth. You only need a very little bit of this product (a dime-sized amount, if not less) as it spreads very easily onto damp skin. One note is that it is quite drying, especially for first users. I recommend starting with once a day cleansing working up to twice a day, if needed. I do not have impurities like I used to, but I continue to use the product as maintenance and stick to once a day cleansing with this product and once a day cleansing with another product. My boyfriend has also tried this product as he gets impurities at times (especially after coming home from the field) and he says it's amazing, but notes it's drying qualities. With continued use, my skin does not dry as it did when I first began using the product, so I believe it is something your skin will get accustomed to.

Solid fash wash. A bit pricey but worth it.

I purchased this on the recommendation of my dermatologist to help control acne. (Whoever said pimples go away after your teens - lied!) I originally bought it from her, but the Amazon price is the lowest. A little goes a long way with this product. One bottle will last me a year, using it both morning and night. I use a separate product to remove eye makeup, and use this cleanser for the rest of my face. It does not dry out my skin like other cleansers and helps keep pimples at bay. I also use the PCA Skin Acne Cream for spot treatments when the occasional pimple rears its ugly head. That cream is amazing! Pimples are gone within 24 hours and no excess drying out of skin. I paid $25 at my dermatologist's and it lists for half that here. I love these products. I've tried the expensive department store cleansers and nothing compares to the success of this skin line in maintaining smooth, pimple-free skin.

I originally bought this for my teen son with moderate acne because of the good reviews. After about 10 weeks of daily use (morning only) there was no improvement. I decided he needed something stronger. Didn't want to waste the rest of the bottle, so I started using it (40 year old female, mild acne). It works wonderfully! I have dry, sensitive skin and this has not irritated it at all. Leaves me feeling clean and clear! It has a nice lemony scent. Bottom line, I recommend for mild acne, but not moderate or severe. Amazon has the best price!

I am a 32 year old AA woman and my skin as NEVER felt or looked better. The first time I started using quality products I used Clinique. Then Ole Henriksen. Then I went to a spa and got a facial and the owner used PCA products and I haven't looked back. I used the Oily/Problem cleanser for a couple of years and then the Creamy cleanser once. I finally used this BPO cleanser along with my PMD face brush and my skin LOOKS AND FEELS PHENOMENAL. Its soft and supple, like I just got a facial. I use it along with the toner, C&E antioxidant, and clear skin moisturizer. I am hooked for life and will recommend this product to anybody who asks.

My aesthetician had me start using this product along with the pca Acne gel when I was going through horrible hormonal acne. These products transformed my face. I have not had any hormonal acne and other than an occasional small pimple here and there , I have beautiful clear skin. This product and the acne gel are truly the holy grail to clear skin!!! I use it everyday , sometimes twice a day. It does have the potential to dry skin out but that hasn’t happened to me . If you have problematic acne skin, give this a try and purchase the acne gel as well!

I have oily- sensitive-acne prone skin. One of the tougher skin types to deal with. I feel like it’s a great product but definitely not for me. It did clear all my cyst acne but it made my skin even more sensitive. It’s a strong cleanser but if you think your skin can take it then buy this !!
