Amazing Entry Point Camera, with access to lenses.
Sony Alpha ZV-E10L The Sony Alpha ZV-E10L is an amazing entry level camera, now for me this was a big purchase but I needed a new camera for content creating and other projects I had going so I needed a camera with a lot of video features, access to manual settings and lenses this camera has all of that and some features such as a flip screen I really wanted but I also didn't mind sacrificing few features such as sensor and view finder. Product Used for Content Creation, Social Media, Light Photography / Filmography and for educational / test footage (Learning to Video and Colour edit with RAW and LUT configs). Likes / Pros Sony might make expensive products but there's a reason for that they are very well paid, they last long and offer a lot of features their audience is after. This camera has amazing selection of settings and features, The Kit Lens well-worth the purchase as a first zoom lens, Video quality is outstanding (just takes little tweak of settings). Dislikes / Cons It's not without it's flaw in the world of camera this is budget / entry level for a Lens based camera with this quantity of features as such expect some flaws and limitations but for it's price range it's some of the best quality product I've found (I sent another camera back, I should of done more research and read more reviews). The stabilisation on this camera is a huge problem if you're shooting footage on the move, the stabilisation gets to the point in order for it to be effective it adds such a huge crop makes me just want to use my phone, if shooting footage on the go i suggest a gimbal to support you (adding to the cost) and the battery life is some of the worst I've ever seen, invest in 3-4 or more space batteries or a plug in battery kit otherwise you will run into problems quickly. Summary & Verdict Depending on your use this is the ideal camera with amazing features, can do a lot with the functionality (does it well but excels at none, hence the price of other cameras £2000+) and for me it's great camera for my uses but also gives me an idea of features I use the most, need the most and if I was to purchase an upgrade I know exactly which features i would focus on making the next purchase even easier. If using for content creation and social media this might be only camera you ever need depending on the content being made. Well worth the expense but as with most things do your research and ensure the product is right fit for you.

All the features I wished for, and for a great price
As a YouTuber and tech enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for high-quality equipment that can help me produce better content without breaking the bank (too much). Here are my thoughts: For my current use (mostly in a studio environment) I must admit that I hesitated to pull the trigger on this camera. I was thinking I could get away with my smartphones, but truth is recording a clean and bright video inside 4 walls is still nearly impossible due to the very limited capabilities of the optics and tiny sensors in those (unless you live in California I guess). With the arrival of (finally) good 4k webcams such as the ElGato FaceCam Pro and Insta360 Link for example, I was tempted to return this camera and get one of those webcams for much cheaper (or even buy the two of them for the price of this Sony). But I remembered the flexibility a proper camera brings compared to simple webcams. At the end of the day, it all comes down to your needs and your budget. What I like: Everything. It is one of the very few cameras with the following features (which I really need on the daily) and at a decent price: clean HDMI view (so I can use my ElGato Camlink 4k in OBS with it) / flip out screen / external mic in / 4k video recording / removable lens. The USB-C file transfer and charging is great, offers a lot of flexibility and negates the needs to carry around yet another charger. While the body is mostly plastic, it doesn't feel cheap at all. It is lighter and more compact than most, making me want to take it when going out. Works flawlessly with my DJI external mics and all cheap shotgun mics I plugged in. What I don't like: Nothing directly related to the camera itself. It's just like any other camera, many accessories are needed (and pricey). Fast SD cards, sturdier mounts, different lenses (especially a wide one, as the crop in 4k video recording mode is massive), and an AC adapter. The USB battery charger in the box, while designed only to recharge the battery, can slow down the discharge rate of the battery when the camera is on and recording. But I wouldn't recommend it long term. It helps when in a pinch, but it won't do for continuous recording and surely can't be good for the camera and or its battery. I'm looking to get that Sony AC-PW20 adapter, but that's another 100e/88£ to part with, and that somehow really annoys me. The Sony app which allows to "control" this camera through a smartphone is downright a joke, with an extremely slow live view and delayed reaction when tapping on the record/take photo button making it almost useless. If they would fix the app, this could actually be really helpful.

Very very good camera! And I’m a newbe!
I bought the Sony ZV-E10 thinking it would be “good enough” and yeah… it’s actually really good. Autofocus is the standout, face and eye tracking just works, which is ideal if you’re filming yourself and don’t want to keep checking if you’re in focus. Video quality is sharp, photos come out clean, and it handles less-than-perfect lighting better than I expected. This was important because I go out a lot at night! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and doesn’t feel overwhelming even if you’re not a camera expert. Flip screen is genuinely useful, battery life is fine, (but I did buy extras) and once you pair it with a decent lens, the quality jump is obvious. (I bought a sigma 30mm 1.f) and it works amazing. Feels like one of those purchases where you don’t immediately regret it, which is rare. Would happily recommend it. I’ve made my partner want one too now haha.

Pretty good
I'm going to repeat what most YouTube videos say on it really, plus some bits they don't mention... It's worth noting that I use it mainly for video rather than pictures. It's great for situations where it's a static setting, e.g. recording in a fixed location or as a high quality webcam. It is not good for fast or even medium speed moving subjects. I use it for recording first person YouTube footage and B-Roll and it's ideal for that. Here are my main irritations: One extreme disappointment is that the USB-C connection to your PC only allows streaming at 720p, which is one of the main reasons I bought this model, but didn't realise you couldn't stream at 4K or even 1080p. So I had to buy an external capture card and HDMI cable. The second most annoying thing is that the power circuit doesn't seem to be well designed, as the battery discharges even when it's plugged into a high power USB-C port. This means that if you use it as a webcam then you'll need to change the battery after 4 hours or so, even though it's been plugged in! I'm certainly not risking one of the cheap dummy batteries or paying for the official one. The third thing is it's remote control capabilities. The software is a mess and confusing, with lots of different protocols and connection methods, but none work well and some of which such as connecting your camera to your home WIFI network is not really documented at all. (Only connecting to camera as an AP is) The remote that you can buy for it only has a couple of buttons and so doesn't really leverage the functionality of the camera. The HDMI and USB ports block the screen too, so getting the camera into the right mode when it's on a desk mount squeezed between 2 monitors is very challenging. All I want to do it set focus, zoom in and out and start and stop recording remotely from my desk; and at least for me I do not find this easy to do. Having said all of that I still give it 4 stars and recommended for YouTubers because it's relatively cheap for a downsampled 6K to 4K camera with good picture clarity. It's night and day between this and what's considered a fairly decent webcam, the Elgato FaceCam.

Amazing camera
This is the second time I have purchased this camera, due to an issue with the first. The quality is INCREDIBLE, shooting in 4k. Easy to carry around and vlog with, but also great for filming in a studio environment. Lots of in depth features but also easy to use for beginners. Mediocre touch screen but ok for the price point. I will also add that the kit lens is not the greatest quality and can be broken very easily if not handled with extreme care. Overall, I highly recommend.

Wow.
The *perfect* first step into mirrorless. I’d been using a DSLR for three or so years, so definitely had some experience with a camera, but this one is something else. The versatility is immense! You can create amazing video with the sLOG capabilities, and incredible photos. Sony colours are incredible to work with; the ability to bring back shadows that almost entirely black is incredible. The small but ergonomic build is a great comfort, and I have zero complaints about the batter life. More than worth its weight in gold: an absolute no-brainer.
