Better than the one I got from Menards and the rings are excellent.

I needed these hog ring pliers and hog rings for replacing the seat covers on my 1995 Impala SS. These old cars use them to help attach the covers to the foam. I've never used hog rings but they were very easy and the hog ring pliers worked great. They seem pretty well built and should last me forever.

Functionally, they worked just fine. And I like the spring-close feature, so it holds the hog ring in the jaws. I used them once, and five minutes into the seat cover, one of the handle grips ripped down the middle (see picture). *UPDATE* I changed my rating from a 3-star to a 4-star because of their customer service. With no prompting from me, they contacted me and offered to refund the entire cost of the product. When I declined, they still insisted on at least a partial refund. Fantastic customer service!

This product was definitely a big surprise for the price. It works just as well as the most expensive ones out there, and I like that it holds the hog rings without any need to apply pressure. This is essential since I use it for bagging ground venison or venison sausage. I have also used it for fencing, and it is just a champ of a tool. I am very happy with this purchase. Only one improvement would be suggested, and that is to increase the length of the handle by 2 inches. However, It is not a deal-breaker for me and it has worked very well nonetheless. If you need this tool, pull the trigger on this one now.

Used this sest to finish an upholstery project. Even through heavy fabric, the pliers didn't require too much effort and the hog rings stayed put during install.

They work as intended but cheap quality.
