I've been a yogi for a year now. During that time, I never used a matt. I preferred becoming one with the floor surface, closer to earth and mother nature the way she intended us to yoga. I did wonder if a matt might make Cat-Cow a little less embarrassing though.So.. I found the thickest matt for the least price I could find. The supposedly eco-friendly anti-tear blue non-slip yoga Mat. Well, It does do what it says. I haven't slipped, torn nor not been friendly ever since I started using Mat.Mat lays there for the most part, though he/she does curl. up on one side. I typically place the rolled-up side facing west so that as the sun sets, the heat may help Mat unwind. So far it hasn't worked. He/She still seems a bit conical.Do I recommend Mat? Sure. Why not. Perhaps a different color might be less tightly wound but even blue is fine.

There are no alignment marks on this mat.

I am new to yoga, and had a mat that I got free from some workout video years ago, but it wasn't that great or thick. This mat is so nice & feels good under the knees and hands. I especially love the markings because it helps me line up or angle my feet for certain poses and when your learning you need all the help you can get!! Absolutely love it! Package came right away & no problems what-so-ever. Would highly recommend!

I specifically went with this mat because it was supposed to bring the carrying strap and mine did not. Returning

I love this mat for yoga and other exercises. It is really pretty and just cushiony enough without being mushy. It has a nonstick bottom which really works and keeps it stable. When I got it it had a slight residue, I just wiped it off with a damp cloth and let it dry and it was perfect.
