Tecumseh 31426 Extension Spring

Liked the fact that it was a factory part and not a knockoff. That being said it fit perfect and worked as it should.

Throttle springs are not something to gamble with regarding quality. I bought a knock-off carburetor which is working well but I noticed that the throttle wasn't getting up to proper RPMs. I looked up the part number and saw that I had OEM and non-OEM options. I'm glad that I went with the OEM throttle spring. I installed it and the motor is working like new.

This new spring helped to stop my snowblower from surging.

Worked perfect for my MTD snowblower, I overhauled the engine but my throttle spring was missing. So I ordered the new one and it worked great.

The original spring has been retired many years of service. As soon as I replaced the spring, the RPM's were up a bit more at full throttle as it was expected. I adjusted the spring to have a lower pull though, keeping in mind the toro 3521 snow blower is from 1989! its still running strong! Replaced the carb as well. its almost like a new machine!

The OEM spring that I had was stretched and worn out, causes the motor to idle and run poorly. I also had poor fuel management as well. This spring fixed the problem and it now runs great!!
