Great med bag!
Fantastic med bag as an RN I try to carry stuff with me that allows me to be useful outside of the hospital if somebody needs my assistance and this thing provides me that ability plenty of storage space and pockets for all kinds of advanced first aid supplies. I’m very happy with it and if I actually needed two, I would get a second one!!!!!

Fill 'er up!
Absolutely huge! Bigger & much more sturdy than other brand I bought originally. Loved it but blew out seams along zipper twice. Company did kindly replace free of charge. This one tho holds all my stuff sons stuff and then some. I obviously don't carry around on shoulder. Way to heavy. May still have some room to spare. I put in trolly cart on wheels if I need it with me. Or carry small version fanny pack for quick trips, excursions, walks etc. I toss in my van and feel safe if I ever need anything or anyone else does, pretty much got it covered. Lol. But it holds pretty much everything ones needs to render first aide to a child with special needs and then some. First aide, gauze, tape, scissors, betadine, glue, steri-strips, burn care, lidacaine, various bandage types & sizes, gauze patches, co-band, ace bandages, broken bone care S.A.M.E splints, large/small (2 limbs twice last yr, now.. I'm prepared. Ugh) Wound care, meds for, asthma care, allergies, seizure care, bloody nose, my own meds, medical needs equipt. Water bottles, one full package hand wipes like for babies diaper change, small umbrella, BP cuff kit, small but heavy utility tool w/knife, small thermos, thermal blankets, Rubberbands, string, whistle, face masks, CPR mask.I bought the optional 4 color pouch kit as well. The removable insert as others mentioned was too big. I taped it up to customize it. But the colored pouches filled up bag space, but bag so much more organized. I can just pull out appropriate pouch, & voila. So I got strong cardboard box, cut rectangle to fit bottom of bag for more support. Taped it up with clear packing tape to make stiffer provide more support & help make it semi water proof if bag were to get wet. There's more but you get my drift. 😉

Good quality bag for emergency supplies.
I've seen and used many good quality bags in my day and this is as good as any of the best ones I've used. The material and stitching/seams are solid in my estimation. I read one review where they say it was ripping at a seam near the zipper after a week (with picture). I personally don't see how this could happen just sitting in a trunk to the bag that's in front of my very eyes. The material is rugged and strong. Obviously, if I poke it with a scalpel or utility blade, it will cut it. The bag I received is free from any defects in stitching and zippers are flawless in function. Someone mentioned some black marks on the inside of the top lid. I have these on my bag. These are just manufacturing marks I believe. The bag is not used as one user mentioned. The bag is obviously brand new. I wouldn't even have noticed them if they hadn't been mentioned. The bag is big enough to stuff all of our emergency supplies. I'm not a EMT, but the wife is a provider and it will be big enough for essential trauma supplies (wound care etc.) I researched this for awhile, and IMO, I think this is a great quality bag that will hold all the essentials. In summary, If you're not a gorilla in the zoo and stay within the confines of earth's physics, this bag should serve you well.

Found the weakness - double stitching seams overlap.
This is my second bag. The first arrived ripped at the top flap along the zipper (see pic for one of the 2 star reviews - same problem). Replacement arrived very quickly and was in good condition. Inspection shows the issue. In sewing, fabric sections (and zippers) are placed parallel and are sown with a straight stitch and then finished. On this bag they use a half inch piece of fabric, fold it over the rough exposed edges to give them a finished look, and sew them in place. So basically, they first sew the sections and zippers in place and then add the finishing fabric on top, stitching again. This brings the 2 stitched rows, depending on how straight the fabric was held in place, to within an eighth inch of one another or directly on top, overlappng the original sewn holes. This weakens the fabric, and pulling can cause these to rip along these seams. The fabric is plasticized on the inside, which may help a little in keeping the rips down since it does hold the weaving together. I turned the new bag inside out and applied liquid stitch along all these seams to reinforce them, especially along the top flap zipper. It dries clear and flexible. It should protect these areas from ripping. I hope I fixed the problem since I love this bag. Time will tell. It is a great size and holds lots of first aid supplies, nicely organized by pocket. The middle has lots of room for full size bottles of hydrogen peroxide and such with inches to spare at the top. For people confused about the size, the middle holds 2 six packs of bottles - it's tall. It's a perfect bag for an extensive home supply and easy to pack to games or camping. I plan to use it no more than once a week, so I can't say it would be durable (plastic zippers) for heavy use, but it is pretty well made, minus the occasional overstitching, and I hope I solved that with the application of liquid stitch. I do want this bag to last since it is the perfect bag for my planned use. It is worth the time it took to reinforce the seams (waterproofs them, too). I may scotch guard the outside also to add some more water resistance. Someone mentioned it being unbalanced because the back does not have pockets like the front. I have all the heavy bottles at the back, so that is no issue, but the bag has a molle-style strap on the back side so you can attach items there if needed, including additional pockets. I didn't see these mentioned and they are handy. 1 row of 6 loops. Note to Rothco - additional rows would be nice to make these true molle-compatible. I added a piece of cardboard to the bottom of the inner section to give it a little firmness. The inner divider is a little too big, but I had no issue getting all the bottles and supplies to fit and be well cushioned. The material is plasticized on the inside but I don't know how water resistant that would be since the seams would leak. Seems to be a material that would be easy to clean if something spilled. You can just wipe the inside clean. I keep most of my supplies in labeled ziploc bags anyway. Uber-organized. Overall a nice bag. I would buy one again if I needed 2.

Great bag for a decent price including shipping from the USA to Canada. It also went through customs with no delay somehow. I am not an emergency technician however recently I decided to make an emergency medical kit and after looking at all the different bags this seemed like the one that would stand out instantly as a first aid bag. Some of the other ones that I have seen look like regular knapsacks or have too much confusion going on to be easily recognizable as an emergency medical bag which in an extreme situation, when life depends on it, you need instant recognition of your kit. Another thing I like about this bag is that it is completely washable just dunk it in the water and hang it up to dry which is something that is necessary if you're going to put sterilized stuff in it. I bought this from Surplus Nation and it came ahead of time. I had a small issue and the seller quickly solved it. It has a removable insert and there is quite a bit of space in that main compartment if you remove it. Going to use the insert somewhere else. The only con is that it will attract vampires.
