Grippy, Cool Jazz alternative
I had been using Dunlope primetone xl jazz III picks with my band Superfluity (see us on youtube), but they are pretty expensive and don't last as long as I would like for such an expensive item. I tried these and they are really good. seem to last ok. Feel good and familiar in my hand as they seem to be based on the jazz III XL dimensions but more pointy. They are nice and grippy, but not so grippy that you can't manoeuvre them in your hand, just about right I would say, well, for me. Nice colour, easy to see on stage if you drop. wish they did the acid green in this size as they look awesome - I like things to look nice. Oh, and mine came on a lovely gold embossed card, which has no bearing on the picks but is a very nice touch an shows they are proud of their product and are not penny pinching. kept the card laying around for a couple of weeks as it just looked so nice. Pretty sure I will be buying more. Glad I found these picks and yes I would recommend trying them. Nice product you guys at Dan's guitar store :-)

Awesome product
Awesome pics great value for money but a pack of 10 extremely durable and perfect thickness for any metal or rock type music have noticed it helps with picking speed due to the sharp shape

Nice sharp and stiff pick - good replacement for XL Jazz 3s
I bought these on a recommendation as I used to use Dunlop XL Jazz IIIs (the red ones). These are sharper and have way better textured grip. Love 'em. They're also bright colours, so they don't blend in and 'hide' when you inevitably plonk them down on top of your amp at some point.Beginners may prefer something with a bit more flex, but once you start to need a bit more precision, these are the business.Review update: These are still great picks, but having used them for a while now i've deducted a star because the edges burr up and start catching if you so much as think about doing a pick-scrape. You can rejuvenate them with a quick sand of the edges, but this has been more of an issue with these than with Tortex, for example, so maybe Dan's picks are using a softer plastic?I also don't use these for acoustic so much, as I prefer a bit of flex on the strummy stuff.

Found my new favourite pick.
Very impressed with these picks. Been looking for a new pick for a while because...you know...saw these and decided to give them a shot. Similar in size and shape to the big jazz III picks, a little less round at the sides. In terms of feel, very grippy which is ideal. Usually with sharp picks I find them to be either a little too "chiruppy" or very grabby when moving between strings, with these I didn't have any of those issues. Percussive and still quite warm you can pick single note runs or get your funk/folk on without too much trouble. The bevel is just about perfect too keeping things very smooth between strings.TL/DR version. If you want to pick fast and clean and still have a good tone you should really give these a try. I think I'll be trying more picks from Dan's but these will be getting ordered again for sure.

Simply (One!) Of The Best
Took a chance on Dan's precision picks based on the great reviews. I must say they are excellent. Super precise and a really nice feel on the strings. Smaller than expected, but you soon adapt. I generally use one pick per night when playing live. The first one has lasted days of playing and is still sharp! Easily the best I've used and I am very particular about guitar picks. Highly recommended if you are looking for a sharp, grippy, precise pick.EDIT. After a few weeks of using these I was noticing my strings seemed dull, even when new, so blamed the strings! Decided to try my old trusty Dunlop Ultex picks and the clarity and snap was back right away. So, great picks but if you're looking for a snappy, clear pick on string, not the best for that.

Durable and comfortable!
After using Dunlop Tortex picks all my life pretty much these are like a breath of fresh air. They don’t wear down in a few seconds, they have a texture design to they’re easier to keep hold of and due to the sharper point I notice a similarly sharp sound!Won’t be going back to anything else!Photo included is a pick used for 2 months, playing half an hour to an hour per day.

Some of the best picks you can buy.
Excellent picks. I've tried just about everything on the market. Boutique hand made picks costing anywhere between £5 and £8 a pick, to custom made stuff costing £20+ per pick and when I tried these I was blown away.Perfect thickness, sharp tipped for accuracy but beveled edges that have some grip on the string which I find preferable to smooth bevels it seems.Durable material that will last a long time with and excellent grippy texture for your thumb and finger. The size is great, bigger than a jazz more like a Jazz XL to hold. The grip is enough for good control but leaves enough non-grip space for the string if strumming etc.I would go as far to say these are the perfect picks out there for me anyway. I'll be a lifelong customer for sure.
